Best Buffalo Wings in Charlotte?

DD Peckers is an instant disqualifier. I remember getting food there and it was "inedible". Thats what Im gonna call it. Whatever you want to call it, it wasnt food. It had been sitting on some grill for over a day/days and it literally crumbled in my mouth when I bit it. Chicken doesnt crumble like your eating a fuggin chips ahoy. That was easily the most disgusted Ive ever been in a restaurant. The waitress had no words when I showed it to her, she rolled her eyes like "aww not again".

Wait....you're telling me that a restaurant actually messed up an order or over/under cooked some food?  Definitely disqualified then.  I'm sure your experience is perfect representation of their wings.

Youre calling it over/under cooked. It wasnt. See, it was left. . somewhere. . for a looong time. It wasnt cooked that way, lmao. Im guessing youre not much of scientist, hahaha.  It became that way after sitting somewhere so long that it became dehydrated and therefor. . it crumbled.

my experience is a perfectly blah  hahaha quiet down fool.

No, the point was....6-7 people on this thread have said DD Peckers has great wings and you're letting one bad experience be the reasoning not to go there?  If you had eaten there several times and had similar experiences I would get it.

I mean....one time I had to have Ruth's Chris cook me a whole new steak because mine was overcooked.  Never going back to that dump....

do you guys tailgate at all? I'm thinking about doing it before the game.

I will be tailgate crashing in the Matrix D lot which is the suite and handicap lot on South side of stadium . My family has the same people they tailgate with for the last 20 years . If you see crazy lady in a Kraken jersey stop by and say hi.

    • The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market.  On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size.   TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?
    • I don’t  think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!
    • in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft .  this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint  ...just saying
