Ranking the Young QB's According to ESPN

You don't understand how coding works do you? They set a range and it assigns an arbitrary number for useless ratings by position. Really not that difficult....

Lmao. 3 years of computer programming. I'm quite aware how object-oriented coding functions. It's very easy to assign a random variable to a class. You know whats even easier? Setting it always to "0".

1) u REALLY picked a terrible topic to debate with me

2) im relating it to the complete lack of validity of this list. If you want a computer programming or madden discussion, there are other forums for that

Why would a player not have ANY skill at doing something in football though, regardless of position?  I'm pretty sure Jordan Gross could throw a football if asked to.  That doesn't mean you want him doing it in an actual game situation.  Like I said it was a bad example.  Both those guys have LIMITED skill to cover a player they just wouldn't be very good at it so you give them a 15 or 17 or whatever.  I never once disagreed with the lack of validity of this shitty list btw....

I never said those guys couldnt throw a ball, make a tackle, etc. I was just relating it to this list by saying Madden telling me that Ryan Kalil is better at man coverage then Jordan Gross, is much like this list telling me that Russell Wilson is more intelligent then Andrew Luck (or vice versa).

Both cases are completely baseless

The difference is (and why I said it was a bad example) is that there's no human element involved in rating man coverage for OL in Madden. This has a human element of guys sitting down and saying "hey which one of these QBs is dumb as a bag of rocks, and which one is a rhodes scholar"?  By the way the reason Cam is last is because he went to an SEC school.  Outside of Vandy not exactly known for their academics....

Would u be surprised if ESPN came up with their lists the same exact way? Completely computer generated? I know I wouldn't

-"Ok Adam Schefter and Jaws click the button!"

..........(computer sounds)

-"Okkk. For durability we got.... Cam Newton 4th!"

-"LOL alrighty lets go with it!"

    • I’m really having a hard time understanding how this actually went down. -Renfrow expected to make roster as 2nd/3rd string. -Panthers cut Renfrow; Keep Brycen Tremayne, and add UDFA receiver (Dalevon Campbell) to active roster.  -Canales/Morgan say it’s totally up to Hunter whether he wants to come back or not, they would love to have him.    -Renfrow not signed to PS -Panthers trade Adam Thielen -Hunter Renfrow signed to active roster with a raise after an injury to Coker nobody heard about and is likely to start.    Our WR room is now: -Xavier Legette (2024 1st round pick) -Tet McMillan (2025 1st round pick) -Hunter Renfrow (1 year out of the league) -David Moore (Canales’ friend? A guy way past his prime) -Jimmy Horn (Likely a Shi Smith reprint, but has potential 2025 6th round pick, weighs 174 lbs) -Brycen Tremayne (2023 UDFA who was on Washington’s PS for 2 years and caught 1 pass for -2 yards and averaged 300 yards per year at Stanford) -Dalevon Campbell (2025 UDFA had a good preseason but had 1463 yards and 3 TDs over 5 college seasons at 3 different schools). What the hell is going on?
    • Not uncommon for week 1 games. Especially against good defenses. It’s why I prefer my team play these small schools week 1 if they are going to play them. Gives the offense time to get calibrated.
