How Much to Pay Hardy?

He has games where he is a monster, and games where he disappears. Sometimes he deserves $76 million, sometimes he deserves 2.5 mil a year. Some serious negotiations are going to take place and I think it's going to take a while to get a deal done because you have to figure out, are you signing a world beater or the Eli Manning of defense? How much Greg Hardy gets paid will depend on how his agent spins his negative aspects because we all know the positive.

Ask me after week 8.

Honestly, if Hardy plays like Hardy does he could have 8 sacks by week 8, all of them in two games.

He's more like a lungfish , he hides in the muck for 3 weeks at a time, then during raining season(this game) he pops out and flops around sacking tackling anything that moves. How do you put a dollar sign on that.

I'll pie that because of the imaginative picture you painted.

I tried. But anyone who knows what a lungfish is knows that it's a decent analogy.

In other news. We can crack jokes and celebrate because today we win.

To the pessimist, shove off you say we beat a bad team. You mention we lost to a bad team last week as well. Guess what, we beat a team 38-0 that beat is 36-7 last season.

Ron showed signs of life early in the season and that hasn't happened ever.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
