Carolina Panthers Fans....

Suck.

I hate to say it after an amazing game but by in large our fanbase is horrible.  We are playing a must win game, where a loss would likely result in a regime change and realistically the end of the season playoff wise.  The team is playing amazing, we are up 31-0 on a team that has whipped us in the past.  Fox does a quick pan of the stadium....about 40-50% of the seats are empty.  That is absolutely pathetic.  I have been to about a dozen Panther games in my life, and I have stayed for every second of every one of them, win or loss.  I really wish the team could institute some sort of monitoring system for douchebags who want to show up late(end of the first quarter) or leave really early, to keep "fans" like that out of BOA.

Got news for u. The 40% empty was the giants fans leaving.

Panther fans enjoyed this one. Take your pissing and moaning to another board.

That's even worst if the majority of the seats were bought up by Giants fans. Says alot about the Panthers fans that they would allow other team fans to out number them at their own home games.

The person who started this thread made their point.

Haven't you heard the northern and western teams have plenty of fans in unions making 3 times what ppl down here make doing the same job...more disposable income to actually enjoy life make trips like that...lol. Plus, thanks to USC in Columbia (the 1st choice) blocking the Panthers, JR had to go to Charoltte. Fans would have been more fanatic down here, than Charlotte…lol.

The reason the seats are empty is irrelevant. Doesn't matter if it is Panther's fans leaving, or the fact that half the stadium was Giants fans, either outcome is pathetic. The fact that that stadium isn't packed wall to wall with Panthers fans proves my point.

Were you there?

    • Lol. The Texans are literally one of Bryce's six career NFL wins. WTF are you talking about?
    • Yeah, I mean it is a statistical fact and also part of literally a player evaluation. Winston has literally lost dozens of games in his NFL career due to crippling TO's. It's just who he is. Look, it's fun when those insane throws work and he is leading you back from some crazy deficit. But those success are rare. It's why his career GWD count is so low. He's fun but he is fundamentally built to lose games.  If you are talking about a backup QB, you are literally already losing in the first place. That's how you see a backup QB and that's overwhelmingly what they tend to do. Rookie QB's almost always benefit from veteran QB's. Same as literally any other position in the NFL. Why do you think that you so often hear that from the playera themselves? As for Bryce NEEDING one, no he sure as poo shouldn't this late in the game. But he also shouldn't have needed this fuging long to get his fuging footwork straightened out either. Yet here we are.
    • Comfortability is the primary reason. They don't want to hurt Bryce's confidence. But I say if his confidence is that fragile that healthy competition which makes everyone better is enough for them to keep making Andy Dalton rich then Bryce was never going to be the guy anyway. Give me the QB who sees the competition amongst his peers and uses it to take it to the next level. Instead we get the guy who comes out looking like a deer in the headlights against the Texans after we've done everything possible to appease him. Definition of complacency.
