Awesomeness!!

he didn't directly say it. he said kaepernick needs roll outs or trickery to get into a rhythm

Bingo/Thanks!  :thumbsu:

Just like his buddy, RG3.

It's amazing, how/why they're telling the truth now?

You can't tell me, they just noticed this stuff--this year, cause they're losing, and not performing as well individually (and up to their overblown/misguided expectations)??  :phew:

Hmmmhh?

Wow!!

Now I heard John Feinstein, on the CBS Sports Radio Update (whatever they call it), call RG3--"RGME", as he lambasted him for his head first slide/fumble (while not recognizing the ball was not active), and not taking responsibility, owning up to it. He also lambasted "RGME", for bringing up The Washington Nationals, Bryce Harper's sliding, instead of simply saying he'll get a slide coach'.

RG3 being labelled selfish!!?? Wow! What's the Sports [reporting] world coming to??  :phew:

The NFL has changed so much. Like they say, throwing for 400 yards is the new 300. Ten QBs threw for over 4000 yards and one for 5k last season. I expect to see more of that this season. That's why the Panthers have been so much fun to watch this season for one reason: DEFENSE. Football is not football without tough physical defense. I'm glad we have that to watch each week. But another thing that comes from this new generation of football is the increase of "sacks" in the NFL.

Though, I dont mind having TNF even if its Jags vs. Titans.

What kind of idiotic poo is this?

You were complaining about the NFL and the rules that have changed the game.  So why do you still watch?

I understand you're simply griping about the state of the league but my point is that people (you included) are going to watch regardless.  People can complain but they will still tune it.  NBA and MLB can't really say the same thing.  I got tired of watching highlights of games being about who dunked on who and pretty much stopped watching.  Still love college basketball but haven't watched NBA in years.

College football can't touch the NFL and the only reason people enjoy it is because they are so enamored by their teams.  But the quality and style of play is nothing compared to the NFL.  And yes the rules have changed but the game is also evolving as well.  When you mentioned watching games years ago how many players were 6'5" 230 lbs and ran a 4.4 forty like Calvin Johnson?  Or how many 6'5" 250 lb QB's did you see that can throw and run like Cam?  Face it, the players have changed even more so than the game.  The rules are just trying to keep up.

Coryell was around in the 60s. There were QBs like Baugh and Unitas in the 50s. Offenses have been slinging the ball around for a long time. The only difference is, that nowadays, there are more QBs than ever with talent.

That said. There are still not enough quality QBs to go around. But offenses are definitely trying to take advantage of the rules. So offense, as a rule, is the man.

But you still need to play D to win it all. Balance is still the key.
