QB statistics

All I know is that was vintage 2011 Cam out there against the Giants last week... and that's what we need.  I don't know how much of that's chalked up to just the Giants sucking, but the play-calling was obviously different.  When that Cam shows up, all we need is for our defense to just be half-decent.  Now if Cam shows up and the defense plays like it's capable of now?  Yeah, we're going places.

I noticed your metric also has Cam at a 66.29 TD%, which seems pretty damn good seeing as there's only one guy on that list higher than him (surprise surprise on who it is). In fact... Cam pretty much blows everyone else out the water on that stat except for the Great One, who has a ridiculous 73.91%.

Cam averaged a 43% TD percentage his first two seasons. He's doing a much better job turning his yardage into touchdowns.

I constantly hear about Cam needs to improve on this and that, and not hear that same standard applied to other QB's in the league.  Everything the guy does gets scrutinized more than any other player in the league.  With that said, through the objective lens, last week had some horrible quarterbacking (when the Cam standard is applied).

Matt Ryan, L 34/54 (needs to improve accuracy, and had an interception)  what's his excuse with his stable of receivers?

Big Ben 36/51 pretty good, but had a costly turnover and fumble in a L.  2 turnovers! must play much better.

Shaub 31/49 not good, 2 int, horrible accuracy, and 2 costly turnovers in a game where they lost by one fg

Flacco 25/50, not good, 5 INT!!!! imagine if Cam threw 5 INT, he would be the headline story in all media

Cutler 27/47 3INT 1 fumble, 4 turnovers!!  wow, haven't heard a peep compared to what we would hear about Cam

Alex Smith 24/41 2 int!! they still won in a blowout, but against the Giants, this type win despite playing badly

Luck 22/36 1 int, Jags... nuff said, but he didn't play well but didn't need to

Tannehill 22/35 decent, but 3 int, 1 fumble 4 turnovers killed them... not being killed like Cam would be

Vick 14/27 no td, no turnovers... blowout loss to Den

Palmer 21/38 2 int, could have lost the game, but won... definitely not his doing

Stafford 23/35 decent 1 int, 1 fum, (against Cutler) still didn't play well enough for the win, they were handed the game

RG3 18/31 decent, played lowly Raiders, but definitely wasn't a good game, Cam would still be criticized for his play

Eli Manning... leading the NFL in int... we all know their troubles.. he has rings but def not receiving the Cam treatment

Gabbert 3 int... Jags

Russel Wilson 12/23 123 yards, 1 int, 49.7 rating... got the W, but lets see him receive the Cam treatment... crickets.  That defense won that game... oh what a luxury.

The point is, as these QB stats have shown, there is more than one way to win.  Many played horribly if scrutinized under the Cam standard, but I've heard nothing.  If Cam plays like any of these players, he's hearing it all week.  I left out Brees, Manning, and Brady since they are in their own league, Rodgers had a bye, and the rookies don't count.

We are getting QB play that is good enough to win.  Cam is as good at the minimum, and better than most if not all of these guys, but has had a lot of bad luck, and tons of hate.  These guys are hyped up but don't deserve much of it.  Yes most have a lot more wins, but they are winning despite their failures.

Innacuracy, turnovers, etc are plaguing these guys, but not a peep.  Keep pounding Cam, we're in good hands.

A lot of those guys have been to the playoffs and won. There are 3 superbowl winners right? And are any of them as flashy or came into the league with so much hype? Besides Gabbert, every single one of them have made a mark for their team. The media gives you more of a pass when you have won big.

Cam is a lightning rod for sure.

Get us into the playoffs and the media will be licking his balls.

FTR they are already bailing on Palmer in Arizona. One "pull palmer" thread and one "resign John Skelton" thread.

Oh and one guy wants to offer us a 2nd round pick for D. Anderson.

Cam is 12th behind aaron rodgers at 11. Lucks qbr is like a 75, Peyton manning is the one with a 91.9, hes best in the league by far. 2nd is phillip rivers at 81.

I don't know what you are looking at, but Cam's QB rating is 91.9 and Peyton Manning's is an unworldly 138.0.

Who gives a flying 'duck' what anyone thinks about Cam.  Let them rip him.  As long as our OC keeps calling good games & Cam keeps playing like he is, it's better for the team anyway.  Look at the national media 'love' last year before the team had to play a real game & showed how much it sucked balls...the media is a bunch of bandwagoners if I've ever seen any.

I Pie'd u because I agree 100%

But I will add, many on here feed the media's love for criticizing Cam when they sit and make so much of of him getting one INT, when it didn't even matter or questioning him for not throwing to every open receiver just because they're to see from their couch.

When I hear these folks in the media talk about Peyton Manning it's like his Receivers are his workers. They have to step up for him. same thing goes for Luck, Matthew, Sam, Brady and all the other "chosen QBs." When they talk about Cam, it's like he works for the Panthers Receivers. He has to do everything to make them look good. What is wrong with that picture?

Some of you feed the ridiculousness that has been surrounding Cam since he turned Pro.

Also, I noticed you didn't have anything to say in regards to Gabbert's play. Funny....
