Anyone need a puppy?

So I adopted a pit bull puppy from animal shelter 2 months ago. The female puppy is absolutely amazing loving dog. Here comes the new managing company for our HOA and establishes new rule that no pit bulls allowed in the neighborhood. This is disgusting... I have no choice but to try to give her away. I called animal shelter and they said they might put her down because they have too many pit bulls already. She's 4 month old American Pit Bull terrier. She loves cuddling and sleeping so she's not much work at all. She's house broken and already had all her shots, spade and microchipped. She's good with other dogs and kids. The hate for pit bulls is beyond me...

Here's her picture with my german sheppard

It's a new development. Apparently HOA modified the rules right around the time we got a pit bull puppy... They never notify us even tho they said they did. Three houses in the neighborhood concerned about us having a pit bull... The whole thing is bull crap.

I think people complained to HOA and HOA changed the rules and trying to force us to get rid of our puppy. If HOA decides to take legal action everyone HOA fee goes up by $60 for year. I would be better off moving...

I fuggin hate HOAs. Pitbulls are the poo. Hope you find her a good home...wish I could take her, she looks like a righteous pupster.

She's adorable sweet thing. She loves cuddling. She always like to put her head on my laps and fall asleep. When we driving and she sleepy, she snuggles with my German Shepherd.

I think this may cross some legal boundaries.

If they didn't notify you then you can easily fight this. I would go make sure that you didn't miss an email. Then ask the HoA to tell you exactly when and how residents were notified.

I'm guessing that no grandfathering could break laws as well.

Finally I would read the new rules carefully and see what the process is supposed to be. How do they prove it is a pitbull?

Try the York County Humane Society, that's where I was able to have my Pit mix go when something similar happened.  Now, I would just make them sue me, it'll cost a helluva lot more for them than you.

I agree with this. Odds are they made some mistake in the process anyway as most HOAs have no clue that they have legal procedures in place they have to follow.

A decent lawyer would probably eat them up.

    • I think the book has been fairly written on Darnold, and by and large stays true. He can be rattled by pressure, and will lose his composure. If a team can get to him and have something go wrong in the plan, the mistakes and errors will pile up. Rams have a better offense, Seahawks sport a better defense. Should be a good 1.
    • Not a defense of him...an understanding of the problem. (something you seem to be lacking right now) 🙄 Bryce in a Canales offense is not an example of a stylistic mismatch, but I can give you one if that helps. When he was playing for the Panthers, Cam Newton sat under OC's running Coryell type offenses. Newton had a big arm and was a strong runner. He fit into that sort of attack very well. Then he goes to New England, where at the time they were running an Earhardt-Perkins system (similar to WCO In a lot of what they do but very different terminology). The Patriot offenses back then were heavily based on timing and rhythm style passing, not something that Newton was especially well suited for. So he washed out at New England, not because he had poor ability (his abilities had been on display here on a regular basis) but because he didn't fit what they wanted to do with their offense. I always go back to Jeff Garcia as one of the prime examples of this issue. Garcia in a WCO looked like a world beater. Put him in any other scheme though...yikes!  So again, Young's issues here have nothing to do with any failure to mesh with Canales. Hell, is say Canales has actually done pretty well at adapting his system to who he has rather than trying to jam square pegs into round holes. Again, it doesn't take an elite level of football knowledge to get this. It's pretty basic. But if you're not even capable of understanding what the real problem is, how are you going to know you to find the right solution? 🤔
