If Shula's play calls are so moronic, why don't we just audible?

Cam has a brain the size of a raisin.

I'm gonna keep an eye on this post. You will see it quoted many times. It is yet to be seen what the verdict of your actions will be.

Comments like this really make you wonder just exactly why some people have such deep disdain for our quarterback.

Just to be clear, Red, you're not lumping me in with that moron are you? I was merely pointing out that that dude is gonna get hammered for that retarded comment.

I think most audibles are to change the protection rather than the routes. WRs won't hear the QB on the road. Hand signals definitely need to be used.

That's just not true.

The best veteran QB's basically call the whole game at the line...I personally don't expect that out of a 3rd year player, but

changing the route tree or going to a screen, draw or run from a straight pass play is just elemental football. It is basic audibling.

Even Rivera said Shula is awful, in his own words, if you read between the lines.  Talking about Cam he said that Cam changes 70% of the plays called at the line. 70 fuging %. Theres no reason for Cam to be changing the play that much unless the OC is calling dumb poo.

There obviously was no audible when Cam took that safety.

* There was an obvious blitz coming.

* Cam took the snap from under center

* Cam took a 5-step drop

* There were no hot routes, no quick slant and nobody was looking for the ball.

* Cam had less than 3 seconds from the snap before he went down

Sorry, no. I quoted you because you were the first to respond to it and I was responding more to your post.

As for this thread. Can we get some sources for this information being casually tossed around, besides some jackass commentator?

That's probably too much to ask.

Why does it matter whether Ryan's comments are true as far as the percentage???

Can Cam Newton audible?

Or can he not?

Or does he just audible poorly?

Is all this "bad play calling" really just Newton making poor decisions at the line???

Once again, If Shula's calls are so moronic, why doesn't Newton just audible out of them?

It is a simple question.

That was where I was going with this. If Cam is changing it 70% of the time, RR must be asking Shula questions. BUT outside of the Arizona game, when else has the offense stunk?

We have basically lost all our games outside of ARI due to mistakes (you could even argue the ARI one). So that means our offense is getting it right most of the time.

    • Brah, get in we are going down Cookers injury history- 2024- hamstring injury that had a effect on his combine and pro-day= UDFA gem. panthers bought him and he rehabbed during mini. During TC he missed time with quad(future incoming here). Panthers CUT him, how?? why did they?? You have to agree one of the reasons was injury. Hes on PS for couple weeks and now on the 53. Around week 10 he goes on IR with quad.... makes it back and gives hope he's ready for 2025. 2025- He shows up in Benij shape, gets another quad injury. Adam take allllll the WRs and BY to one of Minnesotas' 10,000 lakes. No Coker, team upset and lays out a workout plan.( He follows it. )Steve Smith releases a 10 min rap beef video calling out how lazy and unprofessional Cooker is. Time passes- Panthers trade Adam with the hope Coker can take some of the reps, he gets another quad injury and hurts the Panthers plan. 6 IR weeks later he comes back, he's fresh legged and others are six weeks in. Playoffs he has a all-timer game.  So if you want to get detailed about it, there they are. He missed 3 games in 2024 (bye adds another week)due to injury and 3 games being Cut for reasons that may or did include his leg being hurt. 2025 he shows up in Benj-shape and has another mini, OTAs, and TC of rehabbing mixed with live reps. Then two days after the Adam trade, he re-injuries his troubled quad and sits on IR for 6 games.  We can or you can discuss the reasons for him being cut and determine if his injury issues were part of it or not. The main point in all this to to show their are some issues if the team is counting on Coker, as shown above and they are not just quad ones.  Hammer-time..... so for the 42nd time Im telling all who want to talk panthers and what could be in the future plans, watch out for the Matt Millen special........ cause WR is on the menu and it should be given the Panthers are one repeating quad issue from starting David fing Moore or who knows I still have a little hope XL shows up and can be a legit #2....

    • I thought Dillion was at least 32. If he is healthy then he will definitely make the 53.
