What Ram fans are saying

panthers are 2-3 their two wins come against two of the worst teams in the leage with a combined record of 1-10 and the one win vikings do have is over the also 1-4 steelers. you guys make it seem like u cant be beat. yes you are 5.5 favs but you get 3 points for being at home. with that said hopefully our defense can contain ur offense mainly the running game. robert quinn will dominate and get a few sacks/hits/pressures. but we are lead by jeff fisher so we could get blown out. 23-16 Rams

You're copying our thoughts about Ron Rivera. Should we call the coaching a push also?

Oh c'mon now...

Some of your members visited our forum, and we haven't told them to STFU (yet).   And if the Rams win Sunday, which Rams fan on here do you suspect will "troll" your board?  I see no evidence of that happening.  But it's nice that you have a contingency plan in the event that you DO lose.  Props on the forward thinking.  lol.

Yeah, you're favorites in this one.  +3 for the home advantage and another 2.5 for good measure.  Should be a good game, and if both teams play disciplined ball, then it could come down to the wire.  Bradford is a very good 4th quarter QB, so be hopeful that it doesn't come down to which QB can make the most of the least amount of time.

Welcome and thanks for letting Steven Jackson sign with Atlanta. You cut bait with him just in time.

Well it was a difficult decision for sure, but in the end I really had no choice.

He wanted to go to "a winner" to finish out his career.  smiley-rofl.gif

So how many playing years does he really have left? I would say this would be his last, but you know him better.

Well he just turned 30, so maybe 2 or 3 more.  In all honesty, Jackson was my favorite player on that team because he made watching the Rams for a few years remotely tolerable.  He was really the only thing on the team that was worth watching for a while there.  He's got a tremendous work ethic that lasts all year long, and you won't find many players in the league with his dedication to conditioning and nutrition.  But as it goes with players 30 and over ... the body can only take so much punishment.

Wasn't Greg The Leg the most inaccurate kicker in the NFL last season? Why do they get the advantage there?

Only reason we could lose is because our coaching staff is incompetent. I go into games expected losses and I have done for 4 years now. Until we can prove that we can win consistently, I wont write anything down as a win.

His accuracy % suffered last year because of the 13 attempts from +50 yards (of which he hit 7 of them).  PFF had him rated as the 5th best kicker last year though, and this year he hasn't missed a single kick while being ranked 6th in the league.  I don't know if that's an advantage or not, but I do know that he can hit them from beyond 50 if called upon to do so.  His worst game last year was in Miami.  I went to that one and the weather was garbage.  Wet and windy interrupted by short bursts of extreme heat which left fans like myself baking in that wok they call a stadium.

Crap. I'm going to Miami for our game on Nov. 24. Better bring the sunblock AND an umbrella.

Did it seem like it would be easy to get a scalped ticket outside the stadium when you went?

Definitely prepare for any kind of weather.  Bring a helmet in case of hail.

And yeah, you can get tickets pretty easily going in.

All I know is I had him in fantasy for a while, and he kept screwing me over, so I eventually dropped him.

And Legatron as a nickname... It suits a Legedu Naanee so much better, mainly because he's an absolutely terrible wideout, but it's hilarious to compare him to Calvin Johnson by giving him a similar nickname.

How is one of the leagues worst rush D's expected to contain one of the better rush games?

Every Panther fan knows we can lose any game.

I'll vouch for that. No one can hate Smitty as much as CRA does and be called a Panthers homer :)

I got no beef with Smitty.

Greatest Panther of all time. He can't control his emotions and is often a jerk....but a great player. Not sure why people get their panties in a wad over that.

    • Right, so basically what I said in my first post about this last night. Tepper needs to use that big wallet of his in one of the few ways it can be used in the NFL given the cap.   Give Scourton a bigger signing bonus but not a fully guaranteed deal. Everyone wins in that scenario as if Scourton is smart and hires good money people, he'll take that bigger signing bonus and use it to make more money in the end over the next 4 years than if he just had his fully guaranteed deal and a smaller signing bonus.
    • It is all confusing and layered. SB is the cash you get very soon within weeks or in simple terms, its what you get to sign the paper work. Players and agents can agree on contract but what to "wait" to sign......teams don't like that cause you can "Carlos Boozer" yourself. In order to get that ink dry, while keeping the contract the same, portion it as a bonus to "sign" and get the funds with ________ .   * But Ive seen worded contracts that split the SB or a 20% to a later date. The beans counters can fill in the details about why certain dates are better and save the team money.. Theres tricks to the trade and accounting is full of them.    Ugh another big layer, is SB can be used to manipulate cap and players. Ill try to give a example that makes enough sense. Believe it or not having a owner like Tepper is a cheat code for this. He has cash in hand, where as Mark Davis had problem making pay roll and had to move the team to Vegas....... Tepper can give you 100,000,000 SB right now and the team can spread out the cap hit. Another owner doesn't have or want to give the player 100,000,000 in cash, but offered the same guaranteed contract in roster bonuses fully guaranteed over the next few years........ Which one do you want??? Everyone wants the money now, not before another inflation waves hits in 2 years. So it does 'pay" to have a owner like tepper that's able to have real cash on hand, while it also works GREAT for cap help. Heres a good video, if you can stand coked up pat and mask look-a-like AJ
