J-stew impact on Sunday

Recommended Posts

Why are some people worried about this. Ron and Shula know what they are doing. Stewart will be worked in slowly this week. I see Stewart maybe getting a max of 10-12 carries. The guy hasn't been on the field since late last season. He is out game shape. So I don't see Ron and Shula pushing the guy to fast to soon. Bottomline Dwill and Tolbert will see the majority of the carries and Stewart will be put in once in a while for the first few weeks. They don't want to push him to fast to risk getting him hurt again and been out for the season. The rythem of the team will be fine as usual.

Idk.. I would like Carolina to look into Toby Gerhart this offseason as he will be a FA.. he was  runner up heisman but does not get to play much because of AP in front.. He is a big FAST smart back. Hes a 230 pounder that runs a 4.4. He went to Stanford.. D will is getting older in age.. and I dont know if JStew can be the number one and carry it. I think he would be great for the team. Big impact run plays.

We're running the ball pretty well without stewart. Tbh I don't know if the flow of our offense will be hurt be the inclusion of another runningback.

We need Stewart.

Williams' role actually has been shrinking. Tolbert in each of the last 2 games has been the preferred RB getting more snaps than Williams.

Stewart fits what Shula wants to do the best

:thumbsd: Ok why would we look into getting another RB when we already have 3 in the back field. Dwill Stewart and Tolbert ain't going no where next year. They will be here for sometime to come. :growl:

My thought on Stewy is, he will get a few carries. If he is vaguely successful, he will get a few more.

I am sure they have a play limit for him. My swag (Scientific wild azz guess) would be 10-15 snaps. If he is being productive, and looks good doing so. Feed his confidence and let him hit his mark. If he struggles, shut him down. It all comes down to the 2 how's. How's he lookin'? and how's he playin'?

In a normal game I see about 30 running plays. That should be plenty to get everyone involved. From Cam on down to Tolbert and Barner. If we got em', we might as well use em'. Figure out the money part after the season.

Stewy picked a good game to return with. They are not a very good D, Stewy is geared up and ready. Best case Stewy Beasts. Worst case, Stewy looks good.

I don't understand why so many people think we should trade Stewart? D-Wills days as a quality starting RB are over.

If we are going to be making several playoff appearances in the next 3-4 seasons we need him to produce for us.

Money and value. Even though Gettlemen trimmed the cap hit by almost 9mil.

Because neither will ever be worth what they make. They are considered underperforming, and average at best by some.

Personally, I say, since the money is already spent. Use them both this year, and hope they both play well. Then let the chips fall where they will after that.

Sure the money hurts, but it is what it is. I don't get why it has to be part of the evaluation process when there is nothing that can be done about it?

DWill runs great when he gets his breathers. Tolbert has been filling that roll nicely as of late. Stewy will fill that role this week.

We have moved the ball against almost everyone for the last year. Now we get Stewy back.
