So WFNZ brings on Mike Belloti to talk about how Mariota is better than Cam?

Mariota is a good college quarterback, and I like his transition into the professional game if he goes to the right team. By all accounts he works very hard and is a very good kid.

 

However, to suggest that Cam doesn't work as hard as Mariota, or to say that he isn't a student of the game is absurd. It's a baseless accusation and clearly the opinion of a guy who just hates Cam because he is Cam.

It was obvious to me last night that these comments are asinine. Mariota may end up being a good quarterback, but against a team with the closest thing to an NFL defense he will face in college, he's screwed the pooch twice now.

I have no problem with the opinion that he thinks Mariota is better than Cam. I disagree with him, but an opinion is an opinion.

I have a serious problem with this jack wagon YET AGAIN pulling out the bull poo Nolan Nawrocki level character assassinations about his work ethic and his intelligence. Especially since his teammates and coaches at every level since Blinn Junior College in Texas say differently about him.

I have come to accept the fact that every new black QB prospect will automatically be compared to, and pronounced "better than" Cam Newton.
