Armanti Sighting

Munnerlyn does.

He most certainly does not. People regularly point out when he plays poorly, and there isn't a rush of a dozen people to flood the thread with "He's a good guy you shouldn't talk bad about him."

Fua, Nakamura, Clausen, Armanti, etc. Players who fuging suck/sucked here and will have threads about them if they sign somewhere else. Get used to it.

It's not Fua's fault he sucks either, but he doesn't get this force field of protection where nobody is allowed to point out he sucks.

Fair point Rodeo, but when I look at the two, I think of Fua on this roster right now - total head-scratcher, but there has to be a reason.  When he is "on the field" getting gashed for 200 yard per carry against any back in the league, that's what pisses me off.

Now, if Armanti was on the field getting targeted and repeatedly dropping passes or screwing up routes, not blocking, etc, then I would understand the level of hate he gets.  But he never was.

That's all I'm saying.

Nope, I'm a Panthers fan and want anyone on this team to be successful.  It doesn't mean they all will be.  Some get hurt, some have ability but don't try hard enough, and others just can't get to the NFL level.

Is it his fault we drafted him when we did?  Nope.  Is it his fault there was never any legit WR competition brought in here to push him out?  Nope.

Truth is, you're an Armanti hater.  Making a thread about a player on the Browns during the celebration after a big win over Atlanta kinda proves that.  No harm in it, you're entitled.

Funny...try again.  Actually, I just read this 'reply'.  If you go thru the tread, you will find my comments about him show how wrong you really are.

I hear you man.  Trust me, I'm glad we've moved on from the eternal experiment that never amounted to poo.  My beef has always been with the FO who kept believing in a player that we all knew couldn't produce, then on game days, he gave us nothing.

I agree.  Gettelman seems like he will hold guys accountable (from coaches to players), which I think is already impacting this team (as long as Richardson does not somehow 'wussify' his, like Hurney was).  When Rivera saw the writing on the wall & knew Gettleman would move on if needed, everyone stepped up their game. I think we are in for some enjoyable football again...finally.

The 1 downer I had to mention, sadly I don't know if Gettleman has as much power with entrenched coaches & players as he thinks he does...Richardson mistakenly beleives that holding on to ineffective personnel is loyalty...this hurts the team.  Like you said, they have to be willing to move on from the eternal experiments & put real players on the team.

Munnerlynn is different in that he has never been able to play his natural position until this year. Armanti's problem is that he went to a school that would let him be qb instead of forcing him to corner where he might have been a decent pro IMO.

This comment is fuggin stupid.
