Better topic, why didn't we shut down Tony Gonzalez? Since Julio and Roddy went down everyone is doubling Gonzalez and we let him run free.

But our backfield got picked on a lot today but also had some great plays. Captain has been fine this year.

That was pretty much the only big play yielded to a Falcons WR all day, so he gets a pass. And Tony G was all but shut out in the second half, so I'd say they figured it out eventually.

I saw him beat by Douglas once today. It was honestly the first time this season that u said "damnit captain". 8 games in....that is a huge improvement for him.

Point is, our secondary isn't great. But Ryan is a better passer than Kaepetnick. We should still hold our own against theme.
