Peter King exists as a stress release for me.

fug him. fug everything about him. The best thing he could do with his life is feed himself feet first into a pencil sharpener while his children watch. The only value he could add to humanity would be by being patient zero for a disease that makes AIDS look like an allergy. May he forever regret the disrespect he has shown Cam, and by regret I mean suffer, and by suffer I mean I hope he forgets how to wish for death when we win the Superbowl and he can't get an interview.

He promised in last week's MMQB column to do a feature on Dalton and Cam Newton... he did one on Dalton in his mailbag, but the feature on Newton he promised never came!

 

Then this week, picture of Newton at the header of the MMQB article... and not a word about his play. I wish I could stomp peter in the balls sometimes for his prejudice against our QB, even during the best of times. He only responds to his ball washers on twitter too.

 

 

Go out into the woods.....connect with nature.....and come back when you find a life.

 

Just kidding....but, why does ANYONE give a poo what some "so called expert" says about the team that you cheer for.  You worry about things that you can control in life.

all three of them are nothing more than turds stuck in the tread of my shoes. the poo is coming off and the stench is barely noticeable.

 

they are to be avoided in the future and unless you just like stepping in poo or are just dumb, you learn how to avoid it.

 

by the way, those are three guys who will never be welcome on the bandwagon.

I get the disdain for the national football media as a whole and turd mongers like King specifically but the fact remains that if we want people outside of our circle jerking fan base to know how to pronounce Lotulelei, or to know that the towel on the head isn't sulking, or that Luke isn't actually regressing then we need these douche bags to write about our boys.

 

 

Whether or not we like them they are read by millions of people each week and the way they present our team is all that some folks know about the Panthers.

Exactly, I had an interaction with Schein on twitter a couple days ago.

He tweeted Cam's stats during the win streak and asked if it would continue vs ATL.

I politely told him to "eat a dick". He responds "Wait, What?" To which I replied with a link of the "Ron and Cam will fail" article from last year. He shut up.

Because it cuts down on the number of times you either have to hear from a national outlet or discuss with a non Panther fan that Cam isn't sulking on the sidelines, or Luke is benefiting from great line play, etc.  I for one am tired of having the same debates/discussions over and over with visiting fans and random people who the only thing they know of the Panthers is what the get from Sports Center and MMQB.

 

If we make a run into the Playoff do you really want to have to sit through those weeks listening to people call our players by the wrong name, talk about Cams immaturity, or how Cam is whats held us back for the last 2 seasons?

 

Some decent reporting from the high profile places would simply be a nice addition to our current win streak.  Its by no means a requirement but it would be nice .

Most of the talk I heard Sunday evening from the press was, "sure Carolina is winning but look at who they have next". I've said this before and I'll say it again, Carolina does not have the market pull to gain attention with the media until they start winning some BIG games. Take a team like Dallas and they could go 0-10 and still attention in week 12 because of their pull. Carolina has to win the games everybody assumes we won't, to get noticed. 

 

Let's just assume we beat, San Francisco and maybe New England... THEY WON'T SHUT UP ABOUT US.

 

Teams will respect us. The media? That's another story.

I have just tuned them out so long ago that what they say (or don't say) does not bother me at all.

 

Their opinions have about as much impact on the outcome of the Panthers play as mine....which is absolutely nothing.

The big difference is that it sounds like you listen to them....I usually don't.

Yeah I admit I still tune in for pregame shows. And whether its NFLN, ESPN, NBC, or Fox they all seem just regurgitate what the national writers like King wrote during the week.
