Well, thanks for recognizing that our chances would be the same without Cam. You're right, we do have a number of players capable of running over your sorry ass franchise like a freight train over a chihuahua. Can't wait to watch those weak little twigs you call linebackers get snapped in half by Tolbert.

Does it matter if he's among the best in the league at net yards per attempt,http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/yardsPerPassAttemptor that the 49ers are number ONE in yards per completion?http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/team-passing-yards-per-completion/2013/

Meh, it is the result of the RGIII gameplan in effect of last season

Have to aid your QBs passing ability by hoping you can get teams to overplay the run to help him pass

Issue becomes when a team doesn't have to overplay the run

And there is a reason why PFF negatively grades CK negatively as a passer....and overall negatively this year.

Mind you, If the Cardinals weren't on a bye week last week, They'd have a winning record. But, those teams are actually better than what their record suggest. Maybe not the texans and jags but i digress. Carolina lost to the Cardinals

AND the Bills, Cmonnnnn. but the Giants Win was impressive though.

Meh, Bills also got a call on there game winning drive you likely only get at home when we intercepted them and it should of been ball game.

Cardinals? If you watched it was just one of those days when a team isn't focused and brings there C game.

It happens. Why you play 16

yeah yeah. . while were losing a 1 pt game to the Bills, you were getting your asses handed to you in a game where the other QB had less than 150 yrds in the air. BLOW OUT! . .like many other things men do in San Fran when they see another man. Your QB was god awful that day. . dear LAWD he was awful. How bad was he that day, can we count the ways? WOW. That had to be excruciating to watch, constantly questing if your QB can even play at this level.

How are niners fans not perpetually nervous and visiting other teams boards to cover for their obvious fears of defeat and embarrassment. . . o wait

Question for you 9'er fans...

What's up with your message board (The Red Zone)? First, you have to register to even view anything, then you go ahead and oblige the dimwits, peruse the board once or twice, then come back to find out they deleted your registration.

Since I didn't even post, just looked at a few threads, perhaps it should just be passed off as ineptitude. Surely they don't have some kind of vetting system to weed out fans of other teams. I mean, it's understood that San Fran is a bit left-leaning, but I can't believe you guys would be more restrictive than Fidel or the PRC.

So what's this all about?

    • Yeah but at least that QB would be not short.  I keep going back to the fact other than Wilson no other short QB has ever won a Super Bowl. The success rate of short QBs is very, very low. Like count on one hand low.  Yeah some people would include Brees too but I don’t consider a 6 foot tall QB short, imo.
    • I just rewatched all the highlights from after Bryce being benched. The Bryce hate needs to calm down a little bit. He showed a ton of potential the back half of the year. Same with Legette. They both made great plays when it mattered and a few mistakes when it counted. If we didn’t have a historically awful defense last year we could have ended even a bit better. Going into a brand new season we should be optimistic at least before game one. 2015 no one expected to go anywhere and the team steam rolled the league. I’m not saying that will happen, but hopefully we made strides to improve on the end of last year. Bryce put both Super Bowl teams in a battle last year and if we had a better D we could have taken them both. So at least look forward to the season and not past the season until it at least begins.
    • I’m not mad at Moehrig.  He’s great at what he does.  And to be honest, a lot of my favorite safeties in our history were box-first type guys - Maxie, Minter, Mike Mitchell, Chris Harris…  they’re first and foremost objective was to put people on their backs and coverage was secondary.  There is a place for that.  There is a definite need for that.  Physical guys that set the tone.  So cool, we have that in Moerhig. But what we have lacked for the vast majority of our existence is a true free safety that cleans everything up on the back end.  Sometimes they come in the form of a JOAT, like Peppers.  I think he would be a fantastic compliment to Moehrig’s strengths and weaknesses.  If we don’t go after him, I certainly hope Ransom is given the chance to grow and develop in real-time with real game reps, because what he did in preseason was very encouraging to see.  I hope he can grow into that roaming center fielder with a little bit of an edge to him as an enforcer as well.  He has the tools.  In the meantime, adding Peppers would only help.
