Dude runs like a troll.  One of our MVPs.   As good as Dwill has been....Trollbert might be our best rb this year. We were all like..."Marty Hurney WTF?" when we signed him, cause we all thought, "Oh No! Overcrowded backfield alert".  But dude has his niche.  Backfield isn't overcrowded it's perfect.   

 

David  Gettles has come in and has done a great job with the 1 year deals.  Blackburn, Ginn, and Mitchell were great signings.  But some of the Marty Hurney decisions that we've questioned (especially myself) have shown to be wise with time.   If we were fortunate enough to win the Superbowl.....we should send Marty a ring too.   

 

After thought:  I know MH's negotiating skills were suspect and he overpaid.  We needed a change.  Point is....this team has Marty's and Gettles stamp on it.

      Forget trying to draft a QB in the early first round--it's stupid

      I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying

      I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.

      Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
