A lil disappointing to see how well Patriots moved ball.

Given the bye week, Brady's ability, and a great gameplan, I think our defense played pretty well.  It doesn't help that the NFL apparently tells its crews that holding shall not be called on the Patriots.  They basically have to commit obvious personal fouls to get flagged.

Anybody that didn't think the Pats were going to make adjustments at halftime and move the ball, hasn't been paying attention.  Brady is one of the greatest QBs of all time.  You're not going to shut him down the whole game.  This was a great win for the Panthers.  It doesn't matter how the Pats moved the ball, they only scored 20 points.

We were making contact but our tackling was off last night giving them additional yards.

The only thing that bothered me last night was the yards after contact that Ridley got.  Need to clean that up.

As for allowing the Pats offense to move the ball, we played this game perfectly.

You play the Pats by forcing them to take the short dink and dunks and making them drive the full length of the field.  They typially lul teams to sleep and then hit the big play.  You beat them by eliminating the big play.

You give up some yards to them, but you force them to "beat" you.....not beat yourself.

Drew Brees is gonna shred that weak ass coverage! Congratulate the ref too for rewarding you all a win! Much more confident after seeing Brady shred you lol

Hilarious that a Saints fan makes a comment about the refs.  They are the ONLY reason you beat the Niners.

Bullshit call on your pansy ass QB....not to mention the blatant non call on the PI in the end zone.

Saints are scared....we know it...and they know it.

I am disappointed that we allowed brady to pick us apart.  However, as much as i hate brady he is a good qb and did what he has done for years. We held him to 20 points and came out with the W and that's all that matters.

I do firmly believe if CJ had played for the entire 2nd it would haven't been as bad.

Our tackling on D upset me the most though. Have got to work on that.

Ask the Saints how they feel about Tom Brady.  Did any of you see Tom Brady beat the Saints in the last seconds of their game?  Tom Brady is one of the best QB's of all time.  To win the game last night was huge.  The Panthers defense had a different game-plan against the Patriots than other teams this year because of Tom Brady.  Against the Dolphins, I'm sure we will see the dominating, attacking defense, that we have seen the last few weeks because Tannehill is not Tom Brady.

This exposed how/why I was concerned about this game.  Brady's probably the best QB we've faced all year despite his WR corp.  The running game they had going was rolling in the 2nd half and the 3rd down quick passes were getting the first downs.  Couple of crap penalties on us when we'd stopped them on 3rd down kept their drives going too, but NE was moving the ball at will it seemed to me.  The pressure we put on Brady when he got in/around the redzone at the end was good, but you just can't even do that with a QB like that.

What won that game for us?

Cam's running ability.  How many 3rd downs did he convert with his legs.  That was the deciding factor I believe.
