If Gordell really wants the league to represent what he portrays he does, then his team would find this stuff and mandate it being on the front page of every National Media outlet. Instead, he allows the Jerry Springer circus to take precedent and the kind humanity of Cam gets smeared.

I'm sure there are other superstars in the league doing this, but we don't know because it's not the "hot topic" and that makes me question the NFL's actual desire to take the position they're in to change actual lives for the better, or turn in ratings and endorsements.

Cam also hates what I hate. Opposing fans in our stands. Sorenson wrote an article about Cam's school visit today as well. At the end he asked Cam if he noticed the crowd Monday night. Cam's response:

"I did, I did. And it's weird to say but I always ask the core people in the organization how was it in 2003 or when we went to the playoffs in 2008. Ever since I've been here it's always been somewhat of a kind of straddle-the-fence fan. You know, if you're winning people say 'I've been a Panther fan since Jake Delhomme, since Fox.' That's what you like to hear. I don't like when you come into the stadium and see Redskin jerseys, Cowboy jerseys. But Monday night I saw a whole stadium full of black, and screaming fans, and it was great."
