It was more than just that sack.  He has been a strong addition and has provided capable depth for us this year.  

 

It's obvious he's not the presence CJ is but proved to be a solid fill in.  He's a Al Wallace type and I like it.

Dude did his job and filled in for one of the best players on the team.  Definitely no easy task and he performed admirably.  Hats off to young Mr. Addison.

The nice thing is that he's young and was one of the first defensive guys it seemed Rivera identified and pulled in for us.  He's not as versatile as some of our other linemen relying on his speed but he is young and looks to be a solid backup/rotational piece.

4 teams in 2 years will stifle anyone's development. Give him time in our system and I bet he turns into starter quality. Great pickup last season.

Addison> Alexander.... but both are great backups. Addison is more consistent!

Id rather have Alexander because of the youth/fire/athletic ability he is. But Addison is nice as well...

He is definitely this years Al Wallace, and has done a great job.  Filling the role I thought Alexander would be taking.

Hard worker.  Solid special teams player and a pretty good pass rusher.  If Hardy wants to much money and won't come back it would not be the end of the world if he plays alot more next year.  Not saying I don't want Hardy, just saying we might have a replacement on the roster.

He's one of those hard-working high motor type guys that Rivera likes...but with the added bonus that he's actually GOOD unlike Fua, Nakamura, Armanti, etc

Wasn't it against Tampa that someone posted some pass-rushing statistic about what DEs got the highest pressure-per-snap percentage for that week? Johnson, Hardy, and Addison were all top 5 in the league. I expect Addison to play a big role this week even if CJ comes back...they might put CJ on a limited snap count.
