Michael Vick

Cam looks up to Vick and you could even say idolized him growing up in Atlanta. Vick knows his time as being "the guy" is over. Vick also had to overcome some maturity issues. With Cams ongoing maturation, Vick would do wonders for Cam. If there's one player in the NFL that Cam looks up to its Vick.

Vick wanted to come to Carolina before and I believe he can still play, his problem is that he can't stay healthy. He would be a very good back up for this team.

The only thing is I would want to carry a 3rd qb if Vick was the #2.

Vick sucks as a passer and always has. If we want a RB as our QB, we can just use DWill or Stew or Tolbert as our QB. F**k Vick.

I hate when people say a qb in the NFL sucks as a passer. Vick could start on a few teams in this league and when healthy is a top 15 qb. Easily the best backup in the NFL right now

The same Hatter that wanted us to get rid of Cam and draft bridgewater? That guy?

No, the guy who said 'hell no' to Vick.

And for the record, Vick is indeed a lousy passer, he's too fragile to be effective as a runner anymore, he thinks he's better than he really is and to top it all off, he's not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.

So...no.

    • Assuming Mann is back I’d go ahead and move Green and the first rounder from PHX for a starting center. I prefer Okogie to Green anyway.
    • Been here since the Coliseum days. Hornets were the first pro team I ever rooted for. If they're ever going to get out of the gutter they have to establish a culture. They are trying to do that. I have no idea if it will be successful but it's a start.
    • I don’t think I'd go that far but there is definitely legitimate reason to ask how much he actually values winning and being great as a basketball player. He is very easily distracted with off the court stuff. This has been a public criticism of people like LeBron James with some of the newer generations of "stars". And it is 1000% valid and needed to be said. All I can say is I hope this is the year. If it is it will be apparent fairly early on. But I get the sense if the same themes continue as the upcoming season progresses the FO could look to move him before the trade deadline. It would suck for a multitude of reasons and I don't want to see it happen but if it did it would be on LaMelo and LaMelo alone because they've given him the keys and are finally putting pieces around him. If he wants to be a great basketball player and win he will be here and do what is necessary for the team to be successful. If not well....
