I feel like we are going to be facing Seattle in Seattle come January

 

We match well with them

1. front seven is fast physical and can get to the qb

2. we have a run game and we need consistency from it

3. We have Cam Newton

 

D needs to keep it close and Cam needs to take over the game

We coulda/woulda/shoulda won the last two if not for Cam's poor throw last year, and DeAngelo's fumble/Olsen's drops/Beason's missed tackle this year. In 2005 we were playing our 4th straight road game with no RB and were beat up coming off a physical game on Sunday against the Bears, while they had the bye and a Saturday game against the Redskins.

I simply don't view their venue as more intimidating as St Louis or Philly were in 2003. Road teams are winning a lot of big playoff games in recent years against great teams in hostile venues. They've won no more than we have as a franchise in over twice the time in the league and we owe them. Not scared.

The Saints just aren't that physical of a team. They struggle with more physcal teams, which is a large reason they lost to the Jets

I think your feeling is gas. We have a winning record there all time, we swept them last year, and have a better team than them this year.

The nightmares I have of that game. Triple teams on Smitty, and I think we were down to like Goings at RB. Now I can't sleep tonight.
