Official Panthers - Saints Gameday Thread

Yes punt do you want anyone of value getting injured. We had a bad night. We got beat flat out. We looked very pedestrian. Guess what they probably needed it cause they looked like this would be easy. We will come back strong and we are at home next week. We start a new streak that takes us to the playoffs.  No need to panic.

Hope you guys enjoyed this slap in the face! Your secondary is beyond awful and your offense may be worse when the run isn't working. Good luck against the jets.

that attitude will change in a couple of weeks.when your saints have to actually go on the road and play.you know the road where your team tends to suck.

Oh wow.....well....If you're a soccer fan, then excuse me....I must know nothing. Listen, I'm not here to "prove" anything. I know losses happen, and like I already said....It's just the WAY they lost. I just love how there's some people that are on here always trying to prove what a "true fan" they are.......Get a freaking life...for real.

You make me laugh...the whole point of my post to yours was to say hey settle down we took a L...a bad L...but hey we have 3 more games....still have a great chance at the playoffs.....You have a great night...not trying to prove anything...just saying all my teams that I cheer for have bad games, bad years, bad decades.....poo happens...but you have to keep pulling for your team....either you're just some uneducated young kid or you're a moron.....not sure which one I'm hoping for at this time.....KEEP POUNDING!!!!

Beat Tampa at home, and beat the rams on the road in another dome and the division is ours. You can have your moral victory at BOA it matters not right now lol. Oh and focus on beating the jets thats your next focus

You dont "fight" when the only "victory" we could have walked away with at that point is avoiding a major injury.

Wouldn't it have been awesome if we got an extra meaningless 50 yards at the end there? Just to see Kalil roll his ankle and miss some games? That would be so worth it!!!

Yeah....OK hooligan....Who said anything about not pulling for them anymore. I'm watching them EVERY week for years......I'm not panicked just upset at a bad performance....By mid day tomorrow I'm focused on next game. Like team should be.

Its a bad loss. But not the end of the season! Its a bump in the road to the playoffs!! Calm down and don't give aint trolls ammo about how bad our fans are exploding! Fug them!! We have them again in two weeks!! Panthers will reset, fix what happened and move on! Just a bad night. Relax.

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
