Saints Report update

BIGH2001

Every time I go there I'm perpetually amazed at just how little their fanbase collectively knows about the game of football. It's remarkable. I have never seen a fanbase who is so consistently oblivious  as to what happens on the field. Their obsessed with records and stats and the media's opinion of them, but it seems they truly don't know the in's and outs of the game. It's like nothing I've ever seen from a group of people. I read stuff, and I have to resist the urge to be offended by how incredibly off base it is because I have to remind myself they truly are that dumb.

The bandwagon base that came with Brees and the '09 run has to be miserable for the long time Saints fans. Some of the stuff I just read about Cam on their board is borderline delusional.

Hey Growl, do the comments look anything like yours and other from last week?

This team just doesnt want to win it. To win stuff like this, you have to have the attitude to take it.

Ron is hoping it falls into our laps.

This may cost us... More than I care to type.

Unreal.

fugging stupid, punt with 2min left down by 3. when do you fugging try to win? fugging pussy.

three and out, three and out, three and out. can't even get a goddamn first down. what a fugging joke of an offen

Those aren't fans. We have a handful of posters like that but not even close to the amount the saints have.

And you seriously shouldn't even show your face over here right now. You are our dirty little cum sponge and we own that ass, bitch.

NFC fuging South fuging Champs.

    • Predictions from the Observer writers  i am sad   I wish the Panthers had one, just one, game changing hero on their roster …one player that isnt ok with losing …there aren't any Steves,, Lukes,  Cams, Thomas’ on this roster    When  a team has a roster and there isn't one jersey that sells, there arent any heroes if there are, today is a good day to show up   From the Oberser  Fowler: Packers 30, Panthers 20. Carolina will hang around for a while for this one, but the Packers — a legitimate Super Bowl threat — have just too much firepower. Kaye: Packers 31, Panthers 20. Green Bay feels like one of the true Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. The Packers’ offense is dynamic and the defense continues to improve. With a banged up O-line and an unpredictable defense, I’m not sure it matters who is at QB for the Panthers on Sunday. The Packers should win at home in convincing fashion. Zietlow: Packers 35, Panthers 28. I predicted last week that the Bills would win in lopsided fashion. They were coming off a two-game losing streak followed by a bye. The Panthers, conversely, were due for a regression after three great weeks. This week, after refocusing, I think the Panthers will put up a strong performance. I also think Rico Dowdle will get the majority of the carries and that the defense will play much better against the run. The Packers will still win, but the Panthers will leave Lambeau with their heads held high.
