Browns To Fire Chudzinski [edit: he got dumped]

It was a quick hook by Cleveland's management, and that is typically due to leadership issues rather than x's and o's. So blame the owner and GM for hiring him in the first place rather than for correcting their mistake now.

And no, you can't fire an OC that got your team to 12 wins in his first year and is apparently popular with his players so you can bring in Norv Turner, a guy that hasn't won anything since Dallas was last relevant.

the rumors point to the former Pats OCs.  I don't know why they think they'll be any more happy with either of them, though.  They seem to be playing the role of being sore about Chip Kelly, and those guys aren't Chip Kelly anymore than Chud is.

Ding Ding Ding. The Browns were MAJORLY disappointed in missing out on Chip Kelly. That is who they wanted all along.

Heck, that is who I wanted too if Ron got ax, but to hire Chud to be Kelly and then fire him after one season is just dumb.

The same thing with the Raiders. STOP FIRING COACHES AFTER ONE SEASON.

Every Coach, unless you got a verbal from Saban, should not be fired until after Season number three.

it's not totally unheard of to hold onto assistants to give the new head coach a first crack at them.

Alternately, the continuity guy is Ray Horton, who will probably interview there and other places for Rooney reasons, if nothing else.

That is true, they have Horton, who is highly though of around the league. I wonder if they give him more than a Rooney interview.

Pretty much this.

I absolutely fuging hate Shula-ball but you can't argue with going 12-4 (10-1 down the stretch) while masking a terrible WR group and sketchy OLine like he did.

Shula's not going anywhere unless he decides to.

11-1. ;)

Agreed, though I really do not like Shula still.

Also while Cleveland's ownership is nuking the team and salting the earth on first energy field or whatever the fug it's called perhaps they should call gettleman in the offseason and offer to ship josh gordon over to carolina for a pack of tropical fruit bubblicious

....and some skittles
