3. Following the 1996 season, Dom Capers and the Panthers coaching staff coached the NFC team in the Pro Bowl. Who were the NINE players that joined them in the game?

 

4. Which player has the longest offensive play in team history?

 

5. What school has the most players drafted by the Panthers in their history?

 

6. Name the player or players that have gone to the most Pro Bowls in team history.

 

7. What team has the Panthers beaten the most that has never been in the same division as them?

Longest SB touchdown for a Panther was Moose I think... not Smitty. I could be wrong tho.

I think he's saying Smitty got the first. Pretty sure you're right about Moose having the longest. Think that TD was the longest pass play in Panthers history before LaFells last year or year before.

      No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad

      I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.

      Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible.
