Chiefs/Colts Game Thread

As I was typing my reply, Luck decides to throw for another TD. Good for him and the Colts.

So your only "rational" (not useless insults/garbage) statement here is:

"Cam will hopefully get to Lucks level soon."

Please, expand upon that. I want to hear your expertise knowledge on quarterbacks.

i'd also like to hear rko's justification for why cam is literally 75% worse than luck as a passer

mr. "i know football" has the floor

This shouldn't have started at all. The QBs in this game are Andrew Luck and Alex Smith. But the goon squad patrols these forums picking fights over Cam every chance they get. Cam isn't even playing this weekend. I'm not an Andrew Luck fan, but I am a fan of common sense. I am a fan of maturity. I don't see it from the Luck haters.

This x1000.

If you dont ROOT for Luck, then by all means flame him. Burn his jersey, egg his house, IDGAF. But people saying he "SUCKS" are clearly idiots or get mad whenever ESPN likes someone, and have their panties in a bunch.

Just like i hate Brees. But hes one if the best fugging QBs in history. Like it or not. Its fact.

U posted what I've been noticing on here for some time. Mention Luck and those who would sit and pick the pimple off of Cam's ass come in serious defense of him. WOW!!! so darn obvious what is motivating all of the hate towards Cam. Can't even deny it anymore.

At one point you think, maybe they just are really hard on young QBs...NOPE.

Newton had that type of game and the same ones now defending Luck would be preaching how Cam should be bench and possibly traded.

Go back and look at Kendrick's posts regarding Cam when he is WINNING and you would think Cam was leading the league in turnovers.

Sometimes teams need some big momentum shift to get things rolling on the right tracks...

So yes sometimes teams, players need a spark to get things going.

I agree, especially in the case of young, developing QBs.  It also helps that the Colts were able to protect the ball... what, 3 out of the last 4 drives had turnovers or something?

Some of you guys are getting too defensive about Luck.

Seriously.

If it was Romo, Cutler,   Rivers,  or basically any other qb,  most would still be talking trash about them.            Our fans even talk smack about Cam after two int games...    so why would Luck get special treatment here?

People are sick of the usual crowd shitting on young QBs like Luck and RGIII in an attempt to make Cam look better. Nobody cares about their insecurity issues, it makes you look like a 15 year old girl. I don't even give two shits about Luck, but you cannot talk about any other team besides the Panthers on the huddle because of these retards.

    • They can get film of all the games? Every team? Wow! Who knew… Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
