CHARLOTTE – Earlier in the week, cornerback

Captain Munnerlyn said he was rooting for the 49ers to beat the Packers in the wild card round. Munnerlyn wanted to face the 49ers again.

Why?

"Because they don't respect us," Munnerlyn said. "I feel like they don't respect us at all."

In Week 10, the Panthers defeated the 49ers 10-9 at San Francisco. The Carolina defense sacked quarterback Colin Kaepernick six times. Kaepernick threw for 91 yards and tossed one interception. The 49ers – who compiled 151 total yards – were 2-for-13 on third down.

"When we beat those guys the first time they were like, 'We beat ourselves. Carolina didn't do anything. We made mistakes,'" Munnerlyn recalled.

Kaepernick conveyed a similar message on a conference call with the Charlotte media on Wednesday.

"I think it was more of what we did to ourselves," Kaepernick said of that Week 10 defeat. "We didn't execute the way we should have, and I didn't play well."

I love Captain, takes things so personal but uses it to improve himself. He openly talked about other players being brought in to take his job and he was going to fight them for it. He won that battle, he got mad at Santonio for not respecting him, won that...and has played lights out sense.

After watching all the media ish I am about to rood rage without the roids. It's not a lack of respect that's disappointing, there is no respect. There's no respect for the team, fans, or organization and the patchwork job Gettlemen did. The analysts have been on the West bandwagon all season and of course they cannot back down from what they were promoting for 10 months.

That said, I believe the team has taken notice, and it's time we officially put the 49ers on notice. We are here, we are loud, and heads are gonna roll come Sunday.

I thought I was excited for the Saints game. I'm just down right pissed I won't be there in Charlotte to welcome all the fugs from Candy Land this time around. I'd give anything to be there.

To be honest, if we could get the stadium rocking and cameras shaking at kickoff to make all these analysts go, wait a minute. San Fran is playing in Charlotte? And there are people there.

In all honesty I'd love to see the real CAP get a pick this game. He deserves the recognition number one. But he is the spark plug to this defense and it'd be huge for everyone.
