I have a black cat named Caroline as an ode to both our Panthers as well as my Red Sox since they play "Sweet Caroline" every game.  She always seems to make her way to the couch around kickoff.

 

You all will not believe what just flippin' happened.  The cats were playing upstairs and suddenly she fell off a ledge down into the living.  She limped around for about thirty seconds and hid behind the couch and would not come out.  Five minutes later she came out and seems to be okay.

 

I do not believe in omens or any of that crap but if I did this could be either really good or really bad.  Either her falling, which cats never flippin' do, is a bad omen for our team today or she just went behind the couch to Ice Up before game time.  Since she seems to be okay now I prefer to think the latter.

 

Seriously, of all the days, you simply cannot make this stuff up.
