Not just a new OC, but a new system is needed.

I'm still on the fence about Shula. He's not as poor as many of you make him out to be, but the pace of play does bother me, as do some of the red zone calls.

We need talent on O. Go up and down San Fran's offensive roster and compare it to ours. The fact that we won 12 games with a sub-standard group of offensive players is a miracle, and you can't acknowledge that without giving the coaching staff credit too.

Never, for even one moment, have I wished Chud was still here. Bring him back? No fuging way.

I am willing to deal with another of Shula if we get weapons

The only real problem I had with Shula's playcalling today was at the goaline..how do you not once put Cam in the fugging shotgun and let him get some momentum towards the goaline and leap over the line for a TD..he's so big and athletic that it's literally unstoppable as long as your line doesn't get completely blasted backwards..I was fuggin screaming at my TV for this to happen but instead we thought we could run it straight up the middle time and again when you could clearly see SF stacking up against this..Hell, even a rollout with a run pass option for Cam would have been better..Shula bitched out at the goaline IMO

Other than that I really don't have any big issues with his playcalling..we lack a good offensive line and playmakers..we need another good receiving TE and a legit playmaking WR..Lafell is a joke..I will be disappointed if he is brought back and just given a starting spot again next year

unless i heard incorrectly, i just heard Cam say HE made that qb sneak call.

i still say roll out at the goal line. it just gives you so many choices, disrupts the d and makes them work.

the Niners did that on their td just before the half. sheesh

    • Hey if they could beat Seattle… tiebreaker head to head over GB, LARms, Seattle… win out the record is 11-6.  Now rap my knuckles for suggesting we win out, but that would be some funny poo. Talk about sneaking up on people.
    • I expected 6 wins this season. I need to see the Panthers blow by that now that they exceeded it by 1. I like how Canales has schemed around the weaknesses on offense in the passing game. I am impressed with the receivers, run blocking, running back combo and secondary communication in zone. Defense and QB need more consistency. The improvement of the defensive play calling and critical 3rd down and 4Q passing when trailing is going to be what I am looking for going into the playoffs. If the Panthers can consistently regain the lead after trailing over the next 4 games, I can see them competing in the playoffs and worth a reevaluation of the last 2 seasons' weaknesses. This is the prove it or lose it moment in their Panthers careers for Young and Evero. No excuses.
    • He's on the smaller size for a center (5'8" 175lbs) and he is a bit of a liability in the faceoff circle. But, he's a proven 60 pt player with room to grow. I'd still rather go get TT from Buffalo. Rossi would be a great consolation prize, though.
