Crabtree is a putz

Good year not to have a 1st round pick...our front office rules:

"One league source said the hold up with first-round negotiations _ only four of 32 had signed by Monday morning _ was San Francisco’s Michael Crabtree. The receiver from Texas Tech was a No. 10 overall draft pick but he is seeking top 3 money."

i knew the day i saw crabtree at the draft..with a white tee and red hat i said he is going to be headache for a FO..

A league source tells us that the attempt by agent Eugene Parker to bust the slotting system for receiver Michael Crabtree, the tenth overall pick in the draft, is contributing to the sssslow pace of contracts at the top of the draft

A Rookie Salary cap is needed so bad, so this kind of crap will stop. All it does is hurt the player. Puts them behind in the career and hurts the team. Look at Russell in Oakland got paid and they still don't know if he is worth a damn, going into his third year.

I agree rookie salary cap is needed.

But the 49ers should just bite the bullet and anti up, especially if they are going to want there new billion dollar stadium & shopping mall deal to go through

Nobody is going to cough up the tax money for that with the sh*t they have on the field now.

If they need cash that badly, they could sell bootleg pictures of Singletary's rump

(sure, the players have already seen it, but their fans haven't) :sosp:

Hehe it is San Franciso after all

Still sounds like a better option then the idea of splitting the stadium costs and sharing the new stadium with the "Godfather" AL Davis and the Raiders, which has been briefly discussed

    • And again, the TLDR of the above is........ My expectations for T-Mac's rookie season have nothing to do with him and more because of my expectations for the rest of the WR room. I think his 2nd season when we then lose Thielen and replace him by just shifting everyone else up a spot in the pecking order and replace him with an end of the bench guy, is when he explodes for a huge yardage season. XL and Coker wouldn't make a good 1/2 combo with Thielen in the slot.  But T-Mac as the 1 with Thielen in the slot has the real potential to make XL/Coker an actual elite 2/4 combo.  Drafting T-Mac drastically changes the potential impact of those two, if anything, that's the biggest thing taking him did to the offense. Because honestly, how many teams have a 3rd and 4th receiving option as good as XL and Coker?
    • good one though it’s really no joke. I know a few friends and family members that suffer with this condition.
    • There's nothing normal about a 73 year old dating a 24 year old and a wildly successful NFL coach going to the college level in his twilight years is unprecedented. Yeah, raving success or absolute clown show. We'll see how it plays out on the field but this is why I was always very apprehensive about going after Belichick. The odds of it going the clown show route seem to be increasing by the day.
