Seahawks vs 49ers NFC Championship Gameday Thread

The one gripe I had with Cam for a large portion of this season was the reluctance to take off and run after progressing through his initial reads. We are seeing in this game how a scrambling quarterback can take over a game. Screw holding the rock and waiting for someone to get a yard of separation. That's like watching paint dry with our receiving core. We took some unnecessary sacks last week because of his reluctance to just take off and get us into field goal range or move the chains. He did have some key scrambles, but I felt like we missed a couple of big opportunities in that game.

second guessing every Panrhers' move must be a prerequisite for being a "faithful" Panthers fan..Sheesh

Yeah, we was slow to react from time to time, but  like every years so far, he will get better at it.

I still like it that Cam was willing to throw it more than run and a WR or 2 will help.

That's all well and good in the first quarter, but I doubt it lasts the whole game. Takes a toll on anyone.

Sure it takes a toll, but in the playoffs it is win or go home. Cam has proven he can take a hit. He can still get down and avoid a hit after a long run and has shown he is pretty good at avoiding the big punishing hits that QBs like RGIII and Kaepernick expose themselves to.
