Godfrey didn't make 25 million this year. He won't see that 25 million overall here. Likely just close to the guaranteed 12.5. Most of which he already got from 11-12. They tax that too like a mofo.

Technically, I think Godfrey actually received 1.7 M as a Panther this year. So what is 125k of 1.7M (again, that money is taxed not take home cash) seems like a better question. Both leave out lots do other things though.

I'm guessing his net worth is not 11M. He made 1.6, 2.8 and 3.7 the last three years. Including his rookie deal he has probably earned a total of around $10M. His take home would be maybe 60% of that due to taxes and then subtract off his expenses for the last 6 years.

 

IF he were frugal maybe he has $5M net worth. Probably highly dependent on what his house is worth. If he has not been frugal he has much less.

He got a 5 million dollar signing bonus so assuming he has any of the money from his rookie deal he has to have a net worth of more than the 5 million u talked about without his house.
