He got a 5 million dollar signing bonus so assuming he has any of the money from his rookie deal he has to have a net worth of more than the 5 million u talked about without his house.

Net worth of 5 million for someone that might be unemployed next year isn't enough to spend wild amounts on extraneous things.

That is a lot of money for watches, Heck I don't even own a watch but hey it's his money. My issue is why did the delivery guy drop off a package that is valued at that much money. Either the shipper screwed up by sending as a "shipper release package" or the driver made a boo boo. I use to work for a shipping carrier so I know high dollar packages need to be signed for before they are delivered

It might be a little more if he has saved well. If he spends like many NFLrs do it may be less.

He will be flat broke in 5 years like so many other NFL players after they are not in the league anymore.

 

Bold statement. Godfrey's not a bad player,  I think there's a better chance that he'll be in this league 5 years from now than that he wont be.
