i don't know why you think i'm some 12 year old kid, i gave you my opinion (with a bit of harshness for the stupid comment) and you come back at me with some elitist attitude and up the personal attacks to another level about you having all these degrees trying to prove you can critically think. and then have the nerve to say I'm not open-minded enough to see this.

 

all i know is Cam has put this team into a position to win late and games and we have lost at least 6 games because the defense blew it at the last second. you can argue for this or against this, i can see both sides. But for a 2 year starter, with 1 year of major college that is pretty incredible, what he did this year was incredible. But you didn't think he was the answer at QB, I showed why I thought he was before and now and you tell me i'm not open-minded enough?

 

I can tell you all about my degree and the degree i'm trying to get while working a 50+ hours a week job but that means nothing on the internet and only further makes you look like some elitist with an "i'm right and your wrong mentality." It's a cop out and hypocritical.

I dunno where else to post this, so I'll post it in the first thread...
 

I had a dream last night that we made the Super Bowl and Cam had a chance to lead us to a victory with about a minute and a half left in the game, down by 6 of something.

 

We ended up losing to some other team that has never won a Super Bowl but has been a few times. Granted, we were major underdogs and everyone was saying we'd be back again a couple times with Cam at the helm.

 

Despite the loss, it was quite gratifying.

I state an opinion and people attack me as if I am wrong...There are no facts to dispute if you are discussing your perspective on a topic--only opinions. I never attack others for an opinion contrary to mine. I preface my statements as my perspective and I support my reasons for my opinion. When I am attacked because my opinion is not popular, people go after me and fail to consider that we are discussing opinions. There are no wrong answers. There is no 'one way" to root for a team.

There is no Truth. That is what people on this board do not seem to understand. There is only opinion. There is no way expressing an opinion could be perceived as someone trying to be right when there is no wrong. That point was made in many ways.

About your point: Cam was inexperienced and probably not ready for the stage. He needed to mature and gain experience. However, my opinion was that he needed to mature and become more of a leader in years one and two--somethng he did. But when I pointed out that he needed some growth, I was attacked. Now that he has grown, I am saying that I finally think he is ready. Some cannot effectively defend their points, so they get personal. It is a sign.

Because there is no new cam what don't you understand? He's the same dude the exact same cam we drafted #1 overall you talk about it like he had to rebuild himself from the ground up and he didn't. Every rookie qb is different has different things to work on for cam it was LEARNING how to be a leader and LEARNING how to be the face of the franchise

Attacking is a form of flattery. It is a sign you think for yourself. context is a funny thing and many have no idea how to deal with it.

Listen, if you want to get personal because I don't agree with you, then just chime back in when you grow up.   I can argue against every one of your points, (for example, Teeray talking about how the defense lost games--Time of possession---they got tired because they were on the field all day---and I guess Cam won the games this year, and not the defense) 

 

RGIII?  Luck?  Captains as rookies.  Cam?  year 3.  You can believe Greg Olsen since you and he are so chummy, or you can let the team's actions speak--But you have an excuse for that too.

 

Yes, people with closed minds are stupid.  I am speaking the truth--I did not like the old Cam and I like the new Cam--the one who pubilicly decided to step up--after you said he didn't need to do so.

 

Life is not always black and white.  Sorry this is too complex for you.  But if you want to call someone out, please scan your degree (if you have one) and send it to me in a PM.  I will be glad to scan my college degrees (4) and send them to you.  (This is where you say education doesn't mean anything to you).  I learned to analyze and think objectively in my doctoral program, and that is what I do well.  If you calll me stupid, how am I to believe anything else you say?

In this one post there are numerous examples of you doing the same thing you rail against Cam for doing. Sounding immature. So...I guess it is do as I say, not as I do, where it comes to you.

You get what you give. Try toning it down a few, and maybe you can participate in more civil conversations. Or not. Like Hardy staying a Panther. It is all up to you.
