Man, I love this place. All this speculation on the draft, and FA hasn't even started.

Gman uses FA to fill out his roster. Which allows him to draft BPA. Speculate all you want. It is just glorified guesswork at this point in time. Cuz we are going to draft for talent, no matter where that kid will play. Unless he is a QB, RB, or a LB, he is in play.

Ah the interwebz. It has given the couch GM a platform. And there was great rejoicing.

I think theres a reason no one has mocked us to get a safety but, you know how the huddle is. It's fun to dream....

IMO, mock drafts are like mother in laws. There are a poo ton of them out there. But nobody takes them seriously.

The draft is fun because there are more kids to pick from than FAs. But...until Gman is done in FA, we are just basically wasting our time. From what we know. We don't know Jack.

Mock drafts and fantasy football. They have no real application to real world football. But my Zod do fans love em.

I guess what I am trying to say is; We are close to being a very good team. So fans want to feel like they know what we need to do to become that team we want to be. It comes with the territory. Fans want to feel like they are a part of the process. Mock drafts feed that need.

WR in the 1st.

OT in the 2nd.

After that, I just want athletes that can compete. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Being the big hitter i think is just a bonus and an image of the old defensive style in the nfl. The modern day saftey is all about coverage at both spots which is why some of the switch between FS and SS. With the shift away from running focused offenses being able to tackle and coverage is all that you really need.

he is a huge hitter, but he goes for the kill shot, and does not wrap up on some hits, causing him to miss. does appear to get to the ball late at times, i really do not see all the hype in him. i watched several Louisville games and he did not jump off the screen to me.

This is what I saw when I watched cut ups of the Kentucky game.

Still though, pair him up with Vacarro and that's one scary combo. I don't see him getting past the Saints. The talent is there he just needs to work on his technique. Once it all clicks, he could be a good one.
