Any of you PC master racers or Xbox One folks got your hands on the beta yet?  I've heard its out there for everyone.

 

Looks like a tight shooter with some cool wall walking and giant, explody mechs in it.  The online only is very different, but then again, aren't most of us connected most of the time we game anyways?

 

Any players out there?  I'm sticking to my 360, so I'm interested to see what it does for that console.

I heard it's supposed to be the 'next gen' of FPSs but I don't see it from the gameplay I've watched.  It just looks like your typical modern fps with mechs and running on walls.  You still have the leveling up and loadouts that have turned me off from others.  I probably won't bother with it.

played the alpha and just finishing up with the beta. I'm super happy with this fps. it plays so much different than most shooters that are out there. its definitely better than cod or battlefield hands down. the titans add a different dynamic as well as the map environments will affect what happens in game as well.

game plays really fast. negative so far for me are the long wait times between matches (90 seconds)

Yeah a "ready" button could help start the next match I suppose.  I can't wait for more maps, apparently there are like 15, and also "monsters" on some of the planets lol.  I played a lot of Hardpoint and really like the balance.  I find myself out of my Titan and putting it on "Guard" mode more on that mode.  

 

Worth mentioning I'm playing it on PC, however I am using the Xbox controller, I found that it works really well this game.

 

Smart pistol is pretty stupid though, hope it is tweaked a bit.

 

I think this game will be a success.  I screwed up and the Gamefly -20% code expired so I'm waiting on another deal to pre-order.  Wish this was on Steam but oh well.

 

I've had a lot of epic moments on this game already, and nothing is more satisfying than ripping another pilot out of his Titan before he can eject and just throwing him to his death.

Wasn't even slightly interested in the game until my bro in law downloaded the beta on my console. He downloaded and played it on his and knew I'd like it.

Liking it is an understatement. The beta fuging rocked. It has a halo vibelook but also has a splash of battlefield and cod. Gameplay was super fun and addictive. I went out and preordered it as well as picked up the limited edition controller.

March 11th can't get here quick enough

Xbox has a bundle: standard console, all the goodies, titanfall and a month of xbl for 499. Good deal.

 

 

my 360 recently got the red ring of death, I'm not a huge gamer but when I have down time I like to play games. I have no interest in building a gaming PC so will probably cave at some point and buy either a PS4 or xbone ....not only can I not decide which one to get, I still can't justify buying an xbone this early on ---even though that is a good deal

 

Idk maybe I should, but I feel like other than AC4 there aren't any good games out right now--and it may stay that way until Destiny next September

Well fighting in Titans is like 50% of the game, where ground fighting is the rest.  Honestly you could play Titanfall out of the Titan the whole time and still dominate.  Certain modes will warrant putting your Titan in defend mode or follow mode, so you have your titan AND you laying death.

I preordered that earlier. I really am stoked for Titanfall.

So get this horse poo. Been having massive problems with my console. First it was networking issues. Then the kinect quit working. Now it won't play any DVDs or blu rays. Called ms. We try to trouble shoot it. Nothing. Bought it 21 days ago. They say the console is bad. As soon as the weather clears here I'm going to return it, get money back and put it all on the titanfall bundle.

One of the friends I have with Xbox One's have had to send his in to MS for repairs on the same issue. It isn't as prevalent as the RROD, but it is an issue.

Today, I am identifying seven players who I guarantee will improve on their 2024 output in the 2025 season. Young took tremendous strides in 2024 after returning to the starting lineup in Week 8 following his benching. He looked far more comfortable in his return and produced with consistency, as he threw for 2,104 yards with 15 TDs and six INTs in the final 10 contests. Most important perhaps is Young's confidence grew immensely down the stretch, leading Carolina to either a game-tying or game-winning drive in six of those games. Now he enters his second season in Dave Canales' system with his best supporting cast to date. The Panthers drafted wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan eighth overall to pair with Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette, who I also believe is poised for a breakout campaign this fall. The 18th-ranked rushing attack from a year ago added Rico Dowdle to complement Chuba Hubbard, giving the team a pair of 1,000-yard rushers. The Panthers have taken the necessary steps to ensure Young's third season will be the best of his career, and now it's up to him to not only continue to grow as a player but prove why he was worthy of being taken No. 1 overall in 2023.       While it's fair to question how impactful a player's relationship with a coach is (especially if someone has questions regarding said coach), it's important to also evaluate the difference between the players here. Jordan Fuller was pick #199 in the 6th round while Justin Simmons was #98 in the 3rd round. Jordan Fuller might have gotten a Super Bowl ring while he was with the Rams, but he got it while on the IR. Justin Simmons, on the other hand, is a x2 Pro-Bowler (2020, 2023), x4 second-team All-Pro (2019, 2021 - 2023), and was the NFL co-leader in INTs (2022). Simmons has also fallen off in the last couple of seasons though, grade-wise. He very well might not be that same player, which could be why the Falcons have elected to replace him with Fuller. As far as getting the best out of what he has, asking him to produce with a starting DL of A'Shawn Robinson (63.56% of the defense's snaps), LaBryan Ray (51.48%), and Shy Tuttle (50.08%) isn't reasonable. Wonnum only played in 8 games, but had the second most % of snaps (37.27%) at EDGE behind Clowney (53.53%). The second-string DL based on snap % was... and don't read this if you just ate... Charles Harris (34.48%), DeShawn Williams (27.67%), and Nick Thurman (19.7%). The second-string EDGEs based on snap count would be DJ Johnson (32.27%) and Cam Gill (18.14%). With the investments made in the run defense this season though, especially on the defensive line, it's more than fair to demand a complete turn around from last season.
