Am i the only one who never really thought Gross was retiring? I just assumed he was going to come back and never even thought there was a realistic chance he was gone.

i think we'll go after one of the top RT FAs this year and then draft an LT.

 

saying that mainly because there's only a couple good LTs hitting the market and they will be as expensive as poo compared to the level of talent available at RT.

 

i know getts says we will be drafting BPA, but LT is going to factor very heavily into that decision. if the choice is between a solid LT and a better WR, i'd be surprised if we didn't draft the LT.

 

that said, i'd be fine with it because there is just so much talent at WR this year.

Well it all depends how serious Gettleman is protecting our franchise QB. LT is the second most important position on offense.

Well, this certainly may change things in regards to the draft and free agency, but good for Gross.  Just like he is moving on to the next chapter of his life, the Panthers and fans must move on as well.
