Is anyone currently on the roster suitable to at least be a stop-gap at LT?

If they don't draft someone NFL-ready or sign a vet LT, I could see them trying Silatolu or Bell at LT.

Nate Chandler played LT exclusively thoughout training camp and preseason, grading out perfect from the preseason.

I don't think Amini has the technique or intelligence to play LT in the NFL. Anyway you look at it, this oline is a disaster unless someone suprises us. I think LT is more of a need than WR.

Pretty straight forward question.  

 

I don't know what the rest of the FA will provide but it's a mixed bag of offensive linemen we have at tackle and we need someone to protect Cam's blindside in the worst kind of way.

I'm not so sure if there is but was looking to see if these guys had any fans.  I didn't think Chandler did poorly by any means this past season.

Chandler graded out perfect during preseason at left tackle. Was Gross' backup last season.

He's been groomed to take Gross' place.

Amini will be playing guard for us.

I'm thinking Nate Chandler may be the wildcard here. He may be our future LT and Gettle will really look like a genius when he has a top 5 LT making less than half a million
