@JHokanson

Cam Newton just rolled out of the #Auburn athletics complex on a scooter designed to keep his wrapped left foot airborne. Odd sight.

I'd like to see a picture of that... Cam scootering around campus with post-surgical bad foot.   :lol:

And this tweet from a 5-star high school QB (Torrance Gibson) that AU is recruiting on Auburn's campus today:

Torrance Gibson

@quick_tg6

Just had a great conversation with Cam Newton.

It's nice to have a previous Heisman Trophy winning, National Championship winning, overall NFL 1st pick, NFL Rookie of the Year QB on campus to "accidentally" bump into highly rated QBs that Auburn is recruiting.   :lol:   :lol: :lol:

Their going to get Auburn for recruiting violations. Allowing Cam to the chance to meet recruits could seriously get someone in trouble. See Urban Meyer and the The Golden Calf of Bristol phone call.

The great thing is Cam is an enrolled student down there this semester.

And he conditions in the AU weight room.

So running into him isn't a violation... its just one of dem deals. ;)

This says it was a violation: According to NCAA rules, once an individual has been identified as an institutional “representative of athletics interest” the individual retains that title for life.

Would not be surprised if this wasn't the last we hear of this.

I would advise you to hold your breath until it happens... won't be long now! ;)

We will see how the NCAA views it . If he's being used as a recruiting tool, they get one more Stab at him.

If you think the NCAA requires ALL former players to never return to the athletic program and facilities at where they played and conditioned... OK.  :lol:

"You can come back to school!  BUT DON'T YOU DARE GO TO THE WEIGHT ROOM!!!!"  lol

Umm, it says in what I linked they can have incidental contact and even exchange introductions, but nothing beyond that.

Silly.  If he had ran into Charles Barkley at the airport should he have canceled his ticket???  Details are below.
