Don't read if not interested: The Adventures of Post-Surgery Cam Newton at Auburn

If you think the NCAA requires ALL former players to never return to the athletic program and facilities at where they played and conditioned... OK.

"You can come back to school! BUT DON'T YOU DARE GO TO THE WEIGHT ROOM!!!!" lol

I imagine the NCAA will still investigate it because that I what they are paid to do. Much like congress, they twiddle their thumbs and scheme on some irrelevant bullshit.

The infallible Andrew Luck and every other Stanford player in the NFL have their own workout facilities and locker room facilities on campus and I know for a fact that potential recruits stop by those facilities coincidentally while those guys are working out there.

Cam is not a booster or an institutional athletic representative.  He is a student who is enrolled in that institution for the purpose of obtaining his undergraduate degree.  Therefore he is not barred from talking to other students or prospective students visiting. He is not acting in the role of representing the institution but just going there like any other student.  He wasn't brought in to meet the prospect he just met him in the course of them both being in the same place at the same time for different purposes. There was nothing to violate from what I can tell.

The NCAA investigated Iowa for recruits bumping inyo Ashton Kutcher and a former player on their visit a few years ago during a basketball game. The original decision was that they were ineligable to be recruited by Iowa. It was later overturned but its not unlikely that Auburn wouldnt report this themselves.

Ashton Kutcher was not a student at the time and in your owns words the other guy was a former player who were at a basketball game.  Cam is a student enrolled at the institution which makes him very different.  He is not acting in the capacity of representing the university which former students and former athletes can be accused of doing.  He is simply there and talked to him just like he would any other student on campus.  They are not the same because their statuses are very different.  Now if Cam were on campus visiting but wasn't enrolled then you might have an issue.

Hey NCAA, how's that cash cow fattening up? Just send the thank you cards for the athletes along with the investigators and save money on a stamp. Those new Bunsen burners in the lab don't pay for themselves you know.

I hope bumping into Cam Newton, who is only a student right now, helps AU land that recruit. I know I'd sign right after fapping.

I mean, my god, Bama this year was caught with an assistant strength and conditioning coach giving cold-hard cash to Ha-Ha Clinton Dix.

The coach was fired, Dix was suspended for two games (coincidentally the suspension was discovered and arranged so that Dix would miss games against the mighty Georgia State Panthers and the Kentucky Wildcats), and the NCAA yawned.

My buddy goes to Auburn and he's been looking for him on campus for me, so far no luck.

What's your buddy's major?  If its engineering or any technical degree, you're not gonna see football players.

(Well, lets just say it'd be rare.)
