Rivera says Cam wasn't consulted in WR moves

That's petty and intellectually dishonest af. Move along sir.

No it isn't, you said he's the team but the Panthers were under .500 until they fixed the defense.  He's not the team and the fact that he's the entire offense is exactly why those receivers are all gone.

They also signed michael huff to be their starting safety and cut him after what 1 or 2 games? They also paid Joe Flacco like an elite qb, they also signed rolando mcclain, they also said gino gradkowski could be a starting center, they also traded anquan boldin who they knew could still play rather than paying him an amount they didn't think he was worth..sound familiar?

They also won a Super Bowl, sound familiar? It shouldn't

It's actually not. You suggested Cam is our entire team, which I completely disagree with.  If you said our offense is all Cam, I would still disagree with you but I would see your point a lot more.  Either way....even if Cam was the entire offense, like you put it, it still doesn't mean the front office would have to inform him of personnel decisions.

Don't get all upset and be rude because you didn't make your point correctly. I wasn't the only one who disagreed with what you were trying to say.

Who the hell in their right mind, would infer that I implied that Cam plays defense??? This is bullshit, symantec word play. No argument...still feel the need to appear to be right? Muddy the convo with simple-mindedness.

Really? cause i'm pretty sure after they made those moves they went 8-8 and missed the playoffs

After you win a Super Bowl it's ok to rebuild a little, you accomplished your goal. Now it's time to do it again. We are looking at that without the ring to show for it

Wait.. Cam wasn't our entire offense? Lol okay. Extremely and ridiculously literal. I see what you are doing here.

Nobody thinks you said he plays defense, you said he's the team.  I was pointing out that when he literally was the team the team wasn't very good.  When the Panthers improved the other side of the ball they started winning games.  Do you think Luke should have been consulted about not resigning Mitchell and Cap?

Not the same, dude. Luke isn't the focal point of the team. Revisionist history. Nobody saw that defense being as good as they were. Now people want to behave as though this team, for the past several years, wasn't Cam and everyone else. This organization is unique, because of that.

    • My comments go back to what I would have done in 2023. That is really when everything veered off of what I thought was good and well. I wanted to keep Wilks, re-sign Darnold and Foreman, and trade down in the draft to take Torrance, Kincaid, Charbonnet, or Mims obviously depending on where they fell. Knowing what was coming the next draft class, that was the prudent thing to do.    I’d still take Warren over Tet, or even Matthew Golden over Tet. Bryce needs guys who get open because right now, no one on this roster creates separation forcing Bryce to be a pinpoint passer which is insane because he’s 5’9. Give me receiving options that create space.    they called him a Mini-Mahomes yet have done nothing similar to what the Chiefs have done to capitalize on those “traits”. It’s absurd. Give me a tight end who can back yard ball, a slasher at running back, a power back, and two 4.3 receivers with exceptional route running.    That’s how you build around what Bryce has done well.
    • We should have traded down, taken Torrance, taken Charbonnet and Mims. Then gone defense. Re-signed Foreman and Darnold. If we sucked again, then you get a shot at Daniels, Maye, Williams, or Nix. You get to keep DJ Moore and stack a core of talent.
    • What is it that Cam is supposed to do differently? He is a running back. Dart will learn to slide, and eventually he won’t be playing with PS elevation receivers so he won’t have to run nearly as much.
