i'm not so sure now thinking about it. thought you guys maybe right but he would technically be a flight risk regardless if it was a private plane or not.

dont really know how that works but i don't think it is as definitive as that.

It's not like they go through the same security or are even in the same part of the airfield as the general public. The team will make it so he can fly. This a is billion dollar team. They have pull

Security is security. Otherwise suspected terrorists could just rent a private jet next time.

Amazing to see someone do something this stupid. Not just that they're supposed to be role models, but you need intelligence in this game. How can you rely on someone during plays in the 4th quarter of a conference championship when he's dumb enough to do this? If he was drunk then it's no excuse - I aim to get my money's worth on free beer every transatlantic flight and love the Atlanta airport barcrawl, but you don't see me doing stuff like that. It's like people who go out to sport events or even nights out and fight - don't blame the alcohol.

I'll stick up for him. Sometimes the TSA is a little over zealous in their jobs. Like the TSA supervisor in Greensboro who wanted me arrested because I couldn't raise my arms as high as he wanted. I said, 'Look douche if this isn't high rough l enough pat me down.'

He got airport police talking to me. The woman was cool the old guy was like, 'You're causing a disturbance and cursing'.

Long story short he took my license from the cop, took a picture of it with his cell phone and I was escorted to the gate where I proceeded to hit on the female cop.

I have had two serious run ins with TSA

1) A couple of months post-911 I was getting overly hasteld by a baffoon of a TSA agent in a small airport in KY. I asked him "if he thought I was a terrorist" to which he freaked out. I was admittedly young and naive and shouldn't have said it. After lecturing me, he let me go.

2) a couple of years ago I was flying to the carribean for a scuba trip. I accidentally packed an 8 inch dual-sided diving knife in my carry on. The police were called, the reps from the airline were called. It resulted in them letting me sill fly, confiscating my knife and later sending me a $250 fine (from the TSA) in the mail. I fought the fine and didn't pay them squat!

So basically your two "run ins" were separate occasions in which you did something really stupid?

TSA agents are there to keep you safe. Those bashing them for being over serious dicks who take everything literal are the same ones who would bash & blame them if someone snuck a knife on a plane.
