If the Panthers lay an egg at home vs Atlanta...
mrBdawg replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
Evero firing is 100% warranted. He is just running a base defense and letting them get killed. Scheming no pressure, disguising nothing. It’s actually pathetic. -
What brand? what he uses on his horses?

If the Panthers lay an egg at home vs Atlanta...
Hoenheim replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
This isn't going to be the same ATL team we faced last year imo. The defensive players they drafted stepped up last night vs the Vikings and Penix looks pretty good. That being said if Bryce can actually have a turnover free game, that could give us a chance to win at home. -
electro's horse started following Hunt and Corbett to IR

Who are the top QB prospects for the 2015 draft?
Bear Hands replied to Panthero's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
Right now, I like Nussmeier, Mateer, & Leavitt the most. In that order. I think Mateer has the upside Sellers provides with a bit less risk. But the ceiling is a few inches lower. -

The easy candidate is DC firing his friend he hired to hold the clipboard. Guy doesn't do anything anyways and it would be purely symbolic. -

I think you will see some sort of shakeup. I don't know what that is. But the boo birds will most definitely come out and be loud. And historically, David Tepper HATES that. I think if you read the room, the Panther fanbase will not have tons of patience this Sunday. Hard to guess what it could be as how we lay an egg would influence the shakeup. I think Evero is in play (I personally think he is only employed to be a sacrificial lamb) I think Canales turning playcalling over is in play (we saw those orders before) I think if Bryce has 2-3 turnover day with some ugly ones a game off could be in play If you can hear the boos loudly on TV, in the stadium and we get embarrassed, Tepper is going to have a very stern Monday morning meeting.

I went to Clemson. And without giving up personal details, I have more reasons to not be rooting for Bryce. He is however, the QB for a team I love dearly. I laid out clearly an argument that you nor anyone else can argue with it. It’s because everything I said was facts. You dismiss it because you’re dealing with your emotional responses to your team losing. You need someone to blame for disturbing your feelings good, it’s lazy and emotional. I understand tho, fans tend to be emotional. There is counseling and 31 other teams. Quite a few with big hulking young men playing QB. You got some options. Being emotional and bitter is your right as a fan, but consider how you might be affecting others around you.

Complementary Football, or: How to Lose a Game
PNW_PantherMan replied to theinstrumental's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I get the impression that Dan and Dave are married to each other in Tepper's eyes. I think they will most likely both be fired in the same offseason cycle. But Tepper will probably make Jim Caldwell GM or something insane. -

Oh snap that's true haha. Although he could probably do better than McAdoo. If we're staring at a new QB, DC and a new OC come end of season, might as well get the new HC. -
I loved how all the Bryce defenders kept pointing to us hanging right there with the Chiefs and Eagles as the proof that Bryce turned the corner. But completely dismissed when people would point out that there was a 99.99% chance that both those teams just looked past us those weeks and didn't take the game as seriously as they should have. It's like they didn't realize that happens ALL THE TIME in all professional sports. The best teams in the league often are in close games with the worst teams in the league because they mentally took the week off. Sure, sometimes they still beat the poo out of them too, but when those games are close, 99 times out of 100, it's because the better team got lazy, not because the crap team all of a sudden turned a corner.

I think that has almost 0% chance of happening. These guys are typically married to calling plays. The only situation where I can see it happening, is Tepper requires him to hire a rock star OC for his final lame duck season. We've seen that episode before. -
Yeah, I have a friend that moved down to Charlotte a couple months ago. I'll probably go visit him that weekend and just show up to the stadium gameday and see if anyone is giving away free tickets/dirt cheap tickets.
-
Yea these tickets are still absurdly expensive to watch such a poor product.

Good observations OP. Nice to see a thread giving a look into the plays that don't always show on the sheets. That blunder is a mixture of coaching and execution. And also a lot of poor awareness by our guys on the field. No one seems to have any real command over the offense. Canales has potential (I understand this is disagreeable), but he needs to have someone at OC so he can assume more of the HC role. I never like it when the HC is calling plays unless he's a real top-tier offensive mind. I think there's potential in our preachy Peloton instructor, but he's not a Shanahan, McVay or O'Connell. I'd prefer he seek out a savant. A potential change that could prolong his time in Carolina is probably an Idzik role change (AHC role) or fired, and we bring in a more seasoned OC. And of course on the non-thread topic, we need a new DC. -
Lol, that would be getting the most value out of a ticket right there.
-
I think I am going to try and go to the Saints game in November when both teams battle it out for the #1 pick in the draft and tickets should basically be free

you called the post that he only turned on his "baller switch" in garbage time a lie....and listed games in the same post. there was a separate post where I said we haven't been competitive w/ Bryce. so we probably are mushing the two things together. As far as the non-competitive statement, no we haven't been competitive with Bryce. We are 6-24 with Bryce. That's not competitive. Was the AZ game last year competitive and did we win? Sure. That wasn't because of Bryce. Was the Eagles game close? Sure. That wasn't because of Bryce, Bryce played poorly. That was because the Eagles laid an egg and kept it close.

Tetairoa McMillan already has over a third (33%) of Xavier Legette's career receiving yardage... TMac - 2 games XL - 18 games https://x.com/keeppurringben/status/1967652309162504206?s=46

He's more worried about his brand than playing football.

At this point, I just want a coach that takes preseason somewhat seriously, goes off on the team when they look like poo, and knows basic poo like not trying to run the clock out in the last 2 minutes of a half. I'm tired of these "rah rah rah" coaches that will only say nice things about the team when we all know the team has looked like poo in the preseason and the 1st 2 weeks of the season. If you play like poo (Scott, XL, Rozeboom, Wallace, Bryce, etc.), then let them know and tell them to play better or sit their ass on the bench. There is just too much complacency on this team and they know they are safe despite many players looking like poo so far.
