Caveat that I'm not political, I don't vote and think ALL politicians (on both sides) are liars and scumbags. I'm with the people in this thread that are speaking to more important things our government and protective agencies could be doing. Next time there is a school shooting or domestic terrorist attack, I'm not going to sleep better knowing that Chauncey Billups can no longer rip off extraordinarily rich people who don't give a fukk about the money anyways. This is a deflect tactic for the FBI to pound their chest to non-sports fans who don't realize how small this problem is vs the rest of our problems as a country. If you wanted to go after this level of gambling, require background checks (criminal) and financial checks (pay stubs) for placing bets. You'd eliminate a lot of criminals and poor people who are desperate to (try) making a quick buck and look for angles or advantages. ESPN throws a spread and O/U on every game that goes across their ticker, and then promotes gambling as an issue when they are the ones aiding it. Love America and the freedoms it allows me (like blasting America on a message board), but pretty ashamed of where we are as a country full of leaders who aren't leading anything prosperous. Stepping off my soapbox now.

Silver is seriously concerned? What a joke. Maybe the league and owners shouldn’t have gotten into bed with gambling entities. I care nothing about gambling. I quit watching sports programming other than games because they’re always shoving it down your throats and yelling. Add in the streaming service proliferation and for the first time in my life I can see a day where I give up sports completely.

No, he's a top 20 guy but he isn't an elite pass rusher. That was always the argument against paying him. Also, he isn't versatile. He is very frequently a big liability if the opposing team runs at him.

I could do an average or a weighted distribution for each round. I would want to use something like Career AV or similar to do that. It's a little more straightforward. I am generally wanting to keep it as a "round based" thing because I want to ultimately use it to gauge when/where to draft QB's based on results.

He's a bottom 5 starter. The type of starter you should be desperately trying to replace.

People are sick and tired and mass incompetence. I could deal with it if this was just bad luck with injuries or a bust draft or 2. That is all about staving off an unhappy fan base. Probably strongly encouraged by the boss. You can’t have a good option in the wings with him stinking it up. People are not patient any more. Just look at this place.

If he hit those kinds of numbers my jaw would drop. Some of the holes against Dallas were literally truck sized. He did his part and was great but that ain’t gonna happen every time.
