  1. Past hour
  2. If expansion happens it will be in North America. But by how many and suitable cities and markets would be challenges to overcome, among others. I do think at some point there could be a European league again, but not an NFL Europe-based division. The single games are proven money-makers without having to commit to a team.
  3. If he’s fired, he might be our new DC. I always liked his defense in the past, a lot more aggressive than what we currently have. What’s everyones take on him as a potential DC for us?
  4. I think that depends on whether you think he's done developing. If he continues to improve as he has over the last year and a half for another season or two (especially with his deep passing) we'll really have something. I know there are questions about how high his ceiling actually is, which I think is the real foundation of the debate about him, but at this point I don't think it matters much because we're not moving on from him for at least another season and likely another 2 seasons. So wherever side of the debate people are on we all might as well sit back, root for the guy and hope for the best.
  5. Me, watching the play, I didn't hear the whistle calling Latham down and was like "Oh poo! He just set the ball down!" I was really afraid we were going to have one of those "never live it down" moments where a Buc comes by, snags the live ball and takes it in for a TD as if it was a fumble. Didn't even notice DB's absence on that play, but if he's regularly being pulled on third down, there may be some rest periods needed for the big guy. Looks like they still handled business, though, so maybe Evero has a better ear to the team than we do.
  6. Yes and no - AT was slow as fug but he sure came down with anything thrown anywhere near him.
  7. A further problem would be more teams to share the money around. It’s one reason why some feel persuading NBA owners to accept two new teams will be difficult because they go from 1/30 to 1/32 in revenue. Will expansion happen? I’m not sure, but if the money keeps growing and they continue to expand into new markets, then I suppose expansion can’t be ruled out in the future. I suppose a number of teams would need to be added to maintain balance; however, there have been uneven numbers at times in the past, so they could schedule around it.
  8. We all know he deserves it but it was also pointed out that he’d need to post 7 or more sacks prior to selection in order to get the recognition. Hes got 5. He’ll probably end up with 6-7. Doesn't matter tho, we know what we got.
  9. Staying under the radar. Hate he missed out on it, but we are all better when they think we're less than we are. It's our job to change their minds, hopefully in February.
  10. Sadly, when it comes to football, I think all hits are cumulative. And Cam took his share and certainly gave more hits than any other QB I've ever seen. The man left it all on the field, for sure. It's a rough, rough way to make a living.
  11. Shoulder, yes, but my point was that his superman style was going to catch up on him. Players don’t take that kind of hammering and play twenty years. A true pocket passer that can protect themselves has a far greater chance of having a lengthy playing career.
  12. Yeah, this is the equivalent of the Panthers moving to Rock Hill.
  13. My general observations: 6 Ravens selected. Why? They're not even that good this year. Only Jags player to get picked was their long snapper. That's insane for one of the better teams in the AFC this year. Travis Kelce making it is a joke at this point. He's a shell of his former self. Swifties voting I guess. Glad to see both Maxx Crosby and Brock Bowers make it for the Raiders despite the team being so awful. Both are top-3 players at their positions for sure. Who the hell is Drew Dalman? The Vikings being shut out is kind of crazy. Not their best year but there is a good amount of talent on that team. I'm positive the Panthers would have been shutout if not for Jaycee Horn having so many INTs. Derrick Brown is better than every DT that made it (on both sides) with the possible exception of Jalen Carter.
  14. I hate watching that play because I get reminded of Kelvin Benjamin's effort on that tackle being so abysmal that it changed Cam's career trajectory.
  15. Bucs fans are pissed they let him go instead of promoting him and moving on from Bowles.
  16. It matters to the players, at the very minimum it matters to the players financially.
  17. Any expansion will require not 1 but at least 2 teams to balance the conferences and would eventually need to be as high as 8 teams in order to keep divisions even. Adding a single team would be a scheduling nightmare. It’s hard enough filling 32 rosters with NFL level talent. Watering that down even further would hurt the product. Id rather see a D-league system to develop more players.
  18. It shouldn't be voted by the fans, too many casuals out there who know nothing
  19. I always feel like the Pro Bowl to a large extent rewards so many guys for the prior season vs the current one. It's really weird. DB missing last season really hurting him. we have seen that before with DB. Dominate season. No Pro Bowl. Catches it the next year.
  20. Yeah agree with t96, Pro Bowl is not a worthy award and hasn't been for a while. People make the pro bowl on name recognition only all the time. All-Pro team selections is the real award for these guys.
  21. STL is not going to be in the running now lol. The new Chiefs stadium will sit on the border of each state supposedly, probably officially addressed in Kansas City too (just Kansas side). They're not moving it to the middle of flat fields Kansas somehwere.
  22. Pro Bowl has been an absolute joke for like 15 years now. Absolute scrubs get in every year when the initial dumbass voting happens and more especially when damn near every player picked initially and many of the replacements back out. fuging Tyler Huntley was a "pro bowler." And Luke won DROY without making the pro bowl. So this doesn't surprise me one bit and I don't care about it either.
  23. MVP of our defense and arguably the best defensive linemen in the league this season was left off the Pro Bowl rosters. Seattle’s interior going to feel that disrespect this Sunday. Jaycee Horn the only Panther elected.
