  1. Past hour
  2. The only point stat that matters is who has more at game's end. Canales, Evero and company were successfully able to pull off wins against several good teams this season. It's pretty sad to have to watch us beat teams that have a good chance at being in the Super Bowl this year only to turn around and lose to a team that was eliminated from playoff contention around week four
  3. 52 in a dome I will take with the kicker we have. Their tying score, we should have just gone for it from our 28 on 4th down. They were back down there in no time. Defense sucked hard.
  4. I think this game was winnable (hell, we almost did).
  5. Play action and toss it to the flat and we probably win. Hell, do what the Voles did with McCarthy a little while ago and I'd still say better odds.
  6. Second one to point that out And yeah, the playcall on that 4th down was just awful.
  7. Hadn't even thought about that. I mean, it was a better coaches game theman the last contest against the Saints, but that and three bucks will get you a gallon of gas. (except in California)
  8. Yeah I did radio so had to rely on them to know a good throw or a missed one, but my impression is he didn’t really do much horrible it was just not winning football. The wilting in the 4th quarter was bad though. And he limits the offense just by being the QB to start with. As I said I did radio so won’t criticize individual throws or plays too much anyway until I see some video. I can’t get excited about the team with him as the QB. I cannot say I expected to win because of Bryce Young today. I thought defense was going to have to be good and they were poo. He can’t put up much more than low to mid 20s points wise so if they give up anything and don’t get takeaways it gets tough. I hope the people at Mint Street are not as unseeing as so many people here are. 3 games to go.
  9. It’s a heavily managed entertainment league. Didn’t say the fixed games aren’t entertaining
  10. There's an extremely simple path to getting Evero off this team. Just wait till the end of the season when his contract expires. Seriously doubt the Panthers are gonna talk about extending him, and he might not want to stay even if they did. This problem solves itself.
  11. That’s the explanation you’ve landed on for how toothless the offense is? Hmm, interesting.
  12. He also can’t step up into the pocket if he does he can’t throw over the line. If he rolls out he’s limited to 10-15yard passes because of lack of arm strength, he’s maxed out his ability and I can’t fugging watch this poo. Reich was vilified for pointing this poo out, now we will spend a few more years trying to fix this poo. Thanks Tepper, you fugging ass.
  13. Who's arguing in favor of the "turd QB"?
  14. The team has a core group of guys now, a solid nucleus to build around. It’s time to find the guys that can take over a game. The type that can flip the field instantly or make the offense gameplan around them. (Luke, Smitty, Peppers) type. Ice cream is in the bowl, need the syrup and sprinkles
  15. I mean the pass to get into fg range was a bit fluky, but he did call a td pass that Bryce threw a can of corn on.
  16. That decision and playcall probably lost them the game alone. It’s insane how bad today was in so many ways. Most of all how the saints were nudged to a win with penalties
  17. I didn’t realize we were in FG range until after we missed it. Against a team that has scored 7 points into the 4th quarter, you sure as hell go up 10 in the 4th. Add in the fact that his clock management before halftime cost us a chance at a TD, Canales in year 2 is showing some seriously bad HC decision making.
  18. I assume you know I'm not one of his "defenders". I disagree with the hyperbolic takes because arguments of that sort weaken the overall point. Examples: "Rex Grossman wasn't an elite quarterback." Valid. "Rex Grossman was the worst quarterback in history and any games the Bears won during that era, they won in spite of him. Yeah, no.
  19. It’s why every game is so close or a blowout. Every play is measured so much to not be a negative play. Evero’s defense is based on bending not breaking so they aren’t exploited for a massive play. Why? No bigtime edge rusher or ball hawk. The offense is the same way, take 10-15 plays to work up the field. Why? Nobody to make the huge 50 yard run after catch or RB to break a tackle and juke half the defense. Or none of these players to earn attention from the defense and free up other guys. Dan needs to target people that can do this.
  20. That referee union is an interesting group. Wonder if there will be any changes to their accountability procedures in the next contract which is up for renewal in May? My guess is a resounding NO.
  21. They had a good drive. Panthers started the game with one. Offenses get paid too. by the end of the game they were exhausted which happens when your offense can’t sustain drives at the end of the game. This is literally how the panthers won in Atlanta, except they lost their qb and by the end of the game top 2 receivers. We unfortunately did not lose our starting qb, to obviously dire effect.
  22. Didn't even think about that...2 weeks to get ready for a team you already played and we still couldn't get a 200 yard passing game from bryce atleast? Its insane folks dont see a concern in this.
  23. As an example of an irrelevant point.
  24. You’re the one who initially brought it up. its important for his defenders to know just how stupid and wrong they are, not just relative to the league but historically as well.
