He is immensely talented but I've never looked at him the same since this. He simply is not a leader nor does he want to be one despite the supermax contract he's been blessed with.

I think why we haven't been moving him around much to get better matchups is less about T-Mac and much more about the rest of the WR room. Realistically, T-Mac is our only true outside WR we have right now, all out other WRs are better suited out of the slot. So if you move T-Mac into the slot to get him better matchups, you're then also downgrading your matchups elsewhere in the process. If the other team realizes this and then explicitly doubles T-Mac to force you to throw to those lesser matchups, we've then shot ourselves in the foot.

brother hope and pray trevon can keep one of them in check, a game like this is why they paid him top 5 money....he's been playing better each week and will need one of his better games for the Panthers to pull out a upset. We followed up the Falcons blowout win at home by getting blown out even worse than that on the road against the Patriots. We followed up the Packers win by losing to the at the time 1 win Saints starting a rookie QB most of us mercilessly clowned them for drafting at home. Time to put up or shut up.

It’s big for us fans that have been here the past 10 years+. When have we had a legit playoff chance in the last 8 years? When have we had a game in prime time? Hardly ever. When have we had a game in prime time that had playoff implications? Hasn’t happened. This is a big game for us.
