First off we play tomorrow not Sunday, second thats not true even if we lose if the Falcons beat the saints we are in.

Neither Necas nor Mikko wanted to be here. As straight forward as the FA and salary cap system is, there's not a lot of ways to escape from a deal you failed to vet ahead of time. Guentzel and Mikko should have both been vetted for long term deals before they were brought in. That being said, there are bigger problems facing this team today, and continuing to dwell on yesterday's mistakes don't help anyone or anything.

That isn't a shock. He has that Bobby Petrino vibe.

What do you know about Kane kiffin
-
Kiffin, not Saban. His texts to college girls been getting leaked.
-
I’d rather get the Seahawks again. Stafford in the playoffs vs Darnold in the playoffs
-
He would have finished the season but Ole Miss pushed him out because of the ultimatum. He chose the money but he wanted both. A missed ring would hurt. I don’t think it’s that much of a stretch.
-
He consistently leaves for more money. It's his MO historically.
-
I'm just saying a guy on a 91 million dollar contract probably cares more about a ring than another million dollars. He left for money but he probably didn't think they'd have a chance at winning it all. So it would be funny if the interim won without him. It would sting in multiple ways.
-
Well if he really cared about a title over the money.....what happened?
-
Really doubt a guy swimming in money cares more about 1 million than a national title. I'm sure he'd be sour.
-
What's that now?? I knew Saban was a bad person but this is the first I am hearing of him being a "diddler."
-
He’s scum. A kid diddler. A millionaire authority figure who takes advantage of his position to diddle 18 yr olds on college campuses. Yuck.
-
He would get $1 mil from LSU if Ole Miss wins it all. I think in his mind that will be better than the title.
-
If it isn't an elite QB, there is no reason to burn a pick on overdrafting a QB. We have so many roster needs it's insane. Hopefully someone like Bailey falls or maybe Styles. I highly doubt it but an elite Front 7 defender would be great.
-
I’m rooting for them just because it would be hilarious and fitting if Kiffin missed out on a national championship to chase a grass is greener mentality and then never win at LSU. Would be the ultimate self sabotage and a nice cautionary tale. That being said, the college football calendar is horrendous on many levels and a coach really shouldn’t have to make that choice in the first place.

If we played Seattle 10 times, I could see us winning 3 of those. If we played the Rams 10 times, I feel like our one win a few weeks ago would be our only one. I mean it was a perfect storm and we still almost lost. Meanwhile we got tons of bad breaks/self inflicted wounds in Seattle and it was really only a big win due to turnovers that gave them short fields (plus Horn's facemask that turned a punt into points).
-
The third is about where I see him and would take him. I’m not using any of our 1st two picks on a QB. I want the panthers to focus on building up the def or bringing in a playmaker with those picks

Lowest Yards Per Completion...All Time.

Russ worked. I still vote Doug Flutie as a competent, sometimes really good starter when he came back from the CFL - and I maintain, I think he could’ve been that without going to the CFL, part of why he didn’t was because of the stigma the NFL has against smaller QBs to begin with. But, both Flutie and Russ had above average to excellent athletic traits - be it arm strength, strength, elusiveness, etc. and Kyler could’ve been right up there with him if he cared about football as much as he does Call of Duty and streaming. the difference between those guys and Bryce? Again, Bryce has almost zero desirable athletic traits you would want in an NFL QB. He is below average in every category. And then to boot, as you said, if you’re below average in EVERYTHING physical, you HAVE to be damn near the best mentally and processing - and he proved to be even subpar in that category. All of that to say, I will NEVER understand what anyone in our organization saw in him to not only draft him, but to trade up to do so and then give him 3 whole years to stink it up. - Today

You were supposed to get me a ticket, what happened?
-
I think that plays a factor for LaMelo, among others. Obviously the biggest being that he just doesn't seem like a guy that will ever be healthy long enough to build around. Also, he still has some maturity issues. He will just basically take himself out of a game every few weeks by losing his poo about some call and then piling up frustration fouls or TO's. I think that goes back to his dad. He always built those kids to focus more on themselves than the game around them. Okay, this was maybe the 4th game I have seen all or part of and I like him. Especially knowing that he wasn't a Lane Kiffin guy the whole time. That's a MASSIVE red flag for QB development. If he was available around the 3rd round or lower, I would absolutely be okay taking a flier on him. Promising prospect. Way more polished than someone like Malik Willis, IMO.

It's going to hurt when they run it back with Dalton as the only other option next year.
-
Yea, the winning history is important. Crossing over to basketball, but it’s why I don’t think LaMelo Ball is right for the hornets. He’s been on losing squads most his playing career; high school included. He’s doesn’t know success. I am a Miss State fan, but I’ve followed Trinidad a bit this year. Just has looked good every game I’ve seen him play.

They lack field generals. I watched Luke highlights last night. My God how far we’ve fallen. He was a cheat code. He ran the defense, make no mistake. Offense had Greg. He knew everybody’s assignments and made sure everything was straight before the huddle was broken. Now, there’s none of that. Not even close. They frequently look like they don’t even know the play book. Students of the game? I don’t see it. The most cerebral players are an UDFA receiver they hit lotto on and a second round rookie edge. Still desperate for a field general.
