It makes a lot of sense, BUT... I don't like the idea of spending another 1st on a pass catcher. With Thieneman gone, i hope we go trenches, OT, DT, ILB.

Great work Verge. Was wondering what your thought process was. I got a plat tire this morning. This leads me to believe that the Panthers will pick someone big and strong. A cornerstone for the team.

But regardless, you feel WR is the goal for round 1? I think if one of those three that you mentioned is there, then I could see them being the pick, if not, I really think it is a lineman. OT or DT.

I could absolutely see teams that drafted tackles trade up for them. It's a strong class.

Ideal? Probably Tyson. Not that that is happening. Tyson, Lemon, Tate is like a dream scenario.

This is absolute best case scenario as far as I'm concerned!! Unfortunately, I don't think Thieneman makes it past Minny or JRod makes it out of rd 1. Hecht has been my draft crush all off season, so yay! I have no idea who that DT is, but a quick glance tells me he's 25 lbs too light and needs to hit the strength and conditioning team hard. But...4th round doesn't have to jump right in, we need rotational guys to spell DB.

Not freaking out because I doubt this is the pick. Just like no one saw our #1 pick coming last year. My preference is Sadiq because it opens up the offense and come back in the second for an OL. If we made a move, and moved up, a LB, edge or S would be great but probably not at the expense of draft capital. Any deal we make I hope we throw in Legette because he is a flat out bust.

Nice Verge. The outliers for me are Fanu and Proctor. Given how teams covet tackle, I don’t see how they make it out of the teens. But there are also only so many slots… Browns intel has been all about Freeling and Proctor ahead of Mauigua FWIW.

Sort of a nightmare scenario with Thienemann, Lemon, and Cooper Jr. gone. It forces Dan Morgan and company to switch gears and choose between Conception and Sadiq, and I think they get Bryce a red zone threat.

D-line sucks other than DB. Edge is a pretty darned good., but no pure pass rusher. ILB, we have 1 stud and decent depth. Need to draft a starter. CB, 2 studs outside, meh at nickel except for a UDFA oft-injured Thornton. No depth. SS- Moehrig is average (I personally think hes above average if not elite, bt PFF said average) and Ransom is a day 3 stud. FS - Scott really is our best FS. Nuff said! please draft a starter!! overall score...half studs, half JAGS. Biggest needs, DT/DE to take some of the heat off Brown. ILB to move Wallace to 2nd string, FS.

He is certainly on the list. Don't think he is the #1 target though.

I am ready to be disappointed again. They let me down last year w/ a shockingly competent showing.

2-0 lead. Need to get 1 of these road games. Stank and Freddie have been our MVPs so far. Jarvy has to get going and tonight could be it. The whole top line has to get producing. Miller has been great..yes I said it…along with the whole blue line. Let’s go boys!

Excited to see who we pick! I have a bad feeling that if we don’t draft best OT available with our first pick we may regret it as soon as this season. We desperately need depth immediately, possibly even a starter depending how Moton looks at this point in his career and whether he keeps clean from injury, and our other starter I am concerned that nobody seemed to want all that much. And we almost certainly will need at least one new starter next year and OTs typically have some growing pains the first year at least if not 2 years, so now is really the time to draft one for next year.

Also thought I remembered, but listening to a podcast yesterday confirmed. KC...possible diva. Was his 2nd year at State when he wasn't getting the ball enough. Would pout on the sidelines. Diva, drops, WR 3 years in a row? Please be a smokescreen
