You know what's funny and depressing is if he just replicates what he did in 2025 next season, he will be in the top 10 WR in franchise history based on receiving yards.
-
Yep, DJ was a good starting WR. He's still our #3 all-time leading WR and will be for awhile to come. Hope to see T-Mac eclipse that but even if he's killing it it'll take a few years.
-
That was intended to be plural. Games(3 games he played in 2004). Yeah, I think objectively CJ is still the better QB but I also no longer have a rosy view of his career. I don't know that he is going to ascend any further than his rookie year and he may descend quite far if his confidence is shattered. I am not in the CJ vs. Bryce camp like most of you all are. I don't want either of them. Especially in the context of potentially getting a mega deal. I could be wrong about both or either in the end but my bet now is that entire 2023 first round QB class just doesn't have any upper tier QB's.
-
I think DJ will always catch some heat because he will never be an elite WR, despite having elite attributes. I remember that when he was here. We all saw Steve Smith play for years, so we know what a truly elite WR looks like. DJ was never that. Now, is he a very, very good WR? Yes. Is he one of the best 15-20 WR's in the NFL year in and year out? I would say yes, as well. But he will always get some doubters because he is the tier below the truly elite WR's. I do agree, though. Would love to still have it. Would love to have reversed that trade immediately. Especially with the benefit of hindsight the way we have now. It's way more painful from that view.
-
No, he never threw 8 tds in a game. I feel like we're splitting hairs and are describing the exact same situation, but you're looking through the lens of recency bias. Either way, the original point remains the same. CJ Stroud is still far better than Bryce Young.
-
You mean the 4 INT game in 2004? That's cool but he threw 8 TD's in the game prior. Also, I definitely never saw him looking like Stroud did. Anyone who watched those two games knows how incredibly lucky Stroud was to have only 8 TO's. I never saw Peyton Manning in a single game just panic and throw up prayers to no one. Not a couple of times but repeatedly. That was basically a worse version of Sam Darnold seeing ghosts.

Canes blue line still a mess. Even though they have won three straight. Way too many odd man rushes. Bussi played possibly the best game by a goalie I have seen Monday. Must play better. Chicago is fast and could tear us up on the back end.
-
I'm not sure how old you are, but maybe you don't remember those early playoff games against the Pats where Manning was completely lost and had no clue what he was doing. We absolutely have seen Peyton Manning crumble in the biggest of moments PLENTY of times, especially early in his career.

That made me laugh. Nice. -

Yet for your proof of concept for how Bryce could never play in the old NFL you showed a clip of 6-2, 195 Ike Taylor(a DB) hitting 6-0, 190 Pat White? So it's not physics you don't understand, it's actual size(and possibly football positions? - Today

Back to DJ Moore. I don't care what has been said. Wish he'd never been traded away from us. Quality receiver and an even better man.

If Josh Allen comes too sure

I’m just not impressed with these hires/openings

If the Raiders draft Mendoza then that GM is getting fired within 3 years. -

Low key they might end up offering the job to Evero. -

Titans are probably pissed that they hired Saleh and then McDermott became available. McDermott might take a year off but I could see him landing any one of the available openings right now. -
And the last time I saw Pinero mentioned it was SF Pinero FG 56 yds. Make the damned 47 yd XP. I don’t miss him.
-
The Panthers doubled and tripled down on putting guys on the field that would benefit Bryce If you did that for Stroud? Of course I can’t know but feel like it would have made a difference. I get the recency bias with Young’s playoff game vs Stroud’s but zoom way out and look at arc of both players’ teams, seems almost the opposite in Houston, to Carolina. Like, how can we help you in Carolina, vs you’re on you own in Houston.
-
You know they’re crying the blues. They are likely hoping he folds like he did on his first try with them, to aid the cope.

Eager did PFF for 7 years in different roles. But had moved on and we hired him away from sumersports there are two links the top one has all his resume from USA Today. The bottom one is kind of cool it is sumersports https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2024/05/08/panthers-hire-eric-eager-pff-reactions-twitter/79552382007/I https://sumersports.com/

Browns gonna have to get the Janitor to coach, nobody wants that drama.. -
Seems to me he bet on traits with size and speed year 1 and pivoted to a more analytics based approach year 2. When did the PFF bloke come along?
-
Great year to need off ball LBs would love to double dip honestly
-
Sam Darnold He could be on the verge of winning a superbowl, and we let him go I bet Minnesota fans are really sick right now Sam has become the ghost that everyone else sees
